The Sea Beast is full of fantastical creatures of the sea and shore. The new animated film showcases a vibrant menagerie of nautical monsters, ranging from ferocious to friendly. Alongside Red, the film’s crimson star, there are crabs, blobs, tentacled green beasties and more. By the time he gets to his classroom in the post-credits scene, he learns from Ed the janitor that the school year is over and that he missed it and slithers home.Many believed it would find a home in Pioneer, but sadly not. Runaway Steam-Kin He gets accepted into the Monsters University scare program years later where he meets both Sulley and Randall Boggs in a SCARE 101 class. Sulley and Mike Wazowski begin to build a friendship as they compete together. During the final event, Sulley cheats. Mike Wazowski is devastated his team won by cheating and later breaks into the door-lab to unsuccessfully collect a child's scream before Sulley saves him. These actions result in both Sulley and Mike Wazowski being expelled from school. After being expelled, the two apply as workers in the Monsters, Inc. mailroom. They advance through the ranks until Sulley becomes a scarer with Mike Wazowski as his assistant.

Legendary Monsters are a special class of Monsters, all of which manifest one element, Legendary ( ). They are divided into two subclasses: the Shugafam and the Werdos. The Shugafam are a special group of Monsters found on Shugabush Island, and are a result of a collaboration with musician Kristian Bush. They are obtained by teleporting a Shugabush fed to level 15 from Plant Island. The Werdos are Monsters that add lyrics to the Natural Islands, and can only be obtained by purchasing them for 100 each. By the end of the film, Sherry gets engaged to Don Carlton. She is also a Metalhead as proven in one scene where she listens to Metal music in her van. Fungus is initially a kind person and means well, even apologizing to Mike about his capture. He eventually falls victim to the machine himself. After Randall's banished to the human world, Fungus is a lot happier and takes on the job of making children laugh.
