I am really enjoying the friendship that is building between Isabelle and Hugo – I really like Hugo but I am starting to wonder what his story is – there is a few hints about him during the books but nothing is every fully disclosed! Well I can honestly say this is the best book I have read this year and it is going to be hard to top. I loved the first book about Isaac because I was literally blown away and did not think I could find another book that could hold a candle to it. It tore my heart into a thousand pieces when it ended and I have been waiting to read this one and see what was going to happen. What happens when every single lie that Izzy has been holding in from Isaac comes crumbling down? When she is put in a position that would change the dynamics of their relationship and possibly destroy everything that they worked for together. She is on one side and Isaac is on the other. I hope you enjoyed this little chit chat about the absolute monstrosity this book was. Now, at this point you may be wondering, “Natasha, if it was really this bad… why did you keep reading?”

The story that spans these four books follows Isaac Holt and Isabelle Brahm, and takes us on a heart-aching, intense, nail biting, incredible, panty melting ride of our lives. This boxed set drew me in right at the beginning of book one and kept me completely enthralled the whole way through to the end of book four. Ms. Boyes is a true genius when it comes to captivating storylines, endearing and interesting characters, scintillating dialogue and vivid descriptive details. If she isn’t on your must-read author list, then she really should be. After a chance meeting, Isabelle was falling at Isaac Holt's feet--literally. His enigmatic personality set her pulse racing, but no matter how much Izzy craves Isaac's touch, she can't have him. Morally and ethically, he is off limits. He is the enemy. This is Izzy and Isaac at the rawest that it will ever be. Both trying to survive and find meaning. You still see their live for one another in this book and the fight against one another. I fell in love with them again. Isaac has known for months that Isabelle was hiding something. He knew their was more to her story, than what she was willing to tell him. But he didn't understand the magnitude of her secret, until she is the one arresting him and putting him in jail. For me Isaac reached a new level of book boyfriend in this instalment in the series! What I wouldn’t give for Isaac to say I was his! He is so swoon-worthy! I have learnt over the past two books not to even try and guess what is going to happen in these books because the other has a fantastic talent for completely flipping the books on their head and she definitely did it in this one! I haven’t seen any of the twists coming in the first two books but there was absolutely NO WAY I anticipated this one! What is this author trying to do to me with these cliff-hangers!!

Publication Order of The Ballsy Boy Books

Oh my goodness! I feel that this series just gets better with this second story of the Enigma series. I just love Isabella more in this story. She tries her best to do what is right and look at the gray in life. She knowledges when she has done not handle everything the best way and tries to make it right. I love that about this character. I feel that I got to learn more about Isaac in this story, but I am hoping to learn even more in the next story. I did really like Hugo in this book. As far as I am concerned, Hugo is Isaac’s best asset in his empire. I love that he can talk candidly towards both Isaac and Isabelle. I still have my original half review saved on my notes and maybe one day I’ll post it. But I was in a completely different place then than I am now. And I think that is one reason why I could never have finished this review before now. Only now, after being arrested by Isabelle, do I realize that all of my assumptions and thoughts I had compiled on her have been terribly inaccurate. I don’t really know her at all. She is practically a stranger.

The Ophelia story at the end was complete and utter bullshit. Why?!? Why bring that into the end.
