For me personally it’s not an everyday scent (again, I’m not a gourmand person), but when I’m going to be hanging out at a cafe with some friends or on a date, then this is the scent I reach for. This lasts so long on my skin I can wear it all day and still smell the base notes at the end of the day.

My boyfriend isn’t a gourmand person either, but he likes how it smells when we’re sharing a coffee and pastry together at our favorite cafe.

I agree there are a few dated smells like perhaps youth dew being beyond fantastic but having a clear smell of civet and that dank animalic smell thats a bit much for most today. It’s a very mature scent (I wouldn’t recommend for anyone under 40) and definitely wasn’t to my taste, but I can see the audience for it. Only few people will be able to notice complexity in fragrances anyway, most people will be fine with simple fragrances.

That was the only thing i did not like and its not here anymore plus they have amplified the soapy note which i love as its clean yet not too musky or powdery. TF FF was never one of my favorites as I'm so blind-sided by his other creations when I'm at the TF counter and I guess, I gave FF little attention. Dior Sauvage EDT smells like the niche, better blended, higher quality version of this, not vice versa. A blend of spices, tobacco, leather, lavender, grapefruit and Oud give it a unique smell of soft woody oudsy and not overly sweet and small hint of sourness. Like if pink whipped cream had a scent, it would smell like Strawberry Snowflakes minus that stupid bergamot!
