After the first few minutes, the lavender steps up big time, along with the cedar. So, you get a mix of cardamom and lavender (cardamom still the strongest), with fresh woody aromas emanating from the base. For a time, La Nuit is quite powdery and has a really attractive aroma, as it dries down. I like the opening of this scent, but the dry down is fantastic.

Strangely enough, I feel the peppery sweetness somehow at the opening and more and more in the further course that the sweetness asserts itself and is accompanied by peppery-spicy. The fragrance, at least in my perception, remains almost constantly delicious until it is completely gone. For me it was immediately clear, on my next date I'm going to look for the bottle in my parents bedroom. La Nuit de L'homme, for some it is only a hyped scent, for me it is my first great love and the beginning of a never ending story, an indescribable passion.

La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Electrique offers a fine tension between spicy cardamom, the electric excitement provided by ginger essence, and the vibrant freshness of lavender harvested in France by YSL Beauty. I don’t understand this, because they don’t have a very large men’s collection and they certainly don’t have anything close to the brilliance and beauty of these fragrances. Also, where 1 Million is more energetic and youthful, La Nuit De L’Homme is classy and refined. Though, it is quite versatile beyond that application. The look, feel and character of these fragrance’s bottle is very important in terms of ‘marquee value’ and nostalgia is a powerful motivator. I've avoided getting carried away for a long time. And now that I couldn't fight it anymore, I finally got La Nuit de L'homme. And I was afraid... I got it... I kind of fell in love with what I consider to be a masterpiece of olfactory perception art.

I think their work on the female Opium is a fantastic example of how they could respectfully revive this line. It is among the sexiest men’s fragrances out there, because it always seems to draw compliments. It’s just been consistent for me over the years, with how it draws attention, even in its lighter state.The lavender, vetiver, and cedar…along with the remaining but toned down cardamom is still awesome and a pleasure to wear. The "Electric blue" color trend of the glass flacons in 2021 did not skip the latest creation of the Yves Saint Laurent house, which launches an Eau de Toilette Intense with a warm, woody-aromatic blend of notes. As soon as the fragrance leaves the bottle, I perceive this sensual sweetness, which makes me sniff at myself all the time. I admit... I'm a "if it-it-weeksly-licious-smells-always-on-myself" sniffer. You can wear it casually or to work as well. It’ll fit in just fine. Seasonally, best in colder to temperate weather, not a summertime scent. I know, there have been reformulations, and some think it is now weaker. I’m not sure, but again, never been a beast for me.
