Description

He was born in Doncaster to Ernest and Phyllis (nee Downing), who ran a guesthouse, and from Thorne grammar school in Doncaster went to Leeds teacher training college, where he met his future wife Kathy (nee Wilkinson). Moving to her native Cheshire they both taught at Grange junior school in Runcorn, getting married in 1960 and having two children, me and Simon. Askrigg– A completely sports obsessed Rottentroll. He attempts every sport imaginable – without any teammates. According to The Rottentroll Files, Askrigg is revealed to have "no brain", leaving him clueless on words such as "athletic" and "tomorrow".

Penyghent - Penyghent is an artistic and creative female Rottentroll, with an impressive talent for football. Generally considered "the cleverest of the Rottentrolls". In the episode Rottentroll of the Year, Penyghent is the organizer of the titular competition and is crowned champion for her efforts. Holliday is successfully married to English actor Harry Treadaway. Harry is best known for his performance as Victor Frankenstein in the horror series 'Penny Dreadful.' Grainger and Harry 33 years old have been seeing each other since 2015. The couple has successfully kept a low profile regarding their romantic life to the public. Looking into Grainger's past affairs, her first recorded relationship was with Luke Bailey; a British actor, writer, and director which started from 2007 lasting about four years. Holliday's second relationship initiated in 2011 with François Arnaud; a Candian TV and Film actor and ended in a year. Ripley and Scuff– A pair of young Rottentrolls, sons of Sigsworthy Crags. They appear in Series 4, and in their own spin off series, Ripley and Scuff. They seemed to have inherited their father's mental instability, or at least his tendency to make dog noises. They also communicate through making drumming noises.

Officer and a Gentleman: Commander Harris. He's a ram and is the local leader of the SAS - no, not the Special Air Services, the Silently Armed Sheep. Merlin: He was the one who brought The Rottentrolls to Troller's Ghyll from Scandinavia ( he was trying to make a ski resort for King Arthur) and named them (he actually called them "rotten trolls" but they were too dumb to realise it. A Children's Company Production in association with United film & television productions for Merdian Broadcasting (silent) He's also an Interactive Narrator, to a hilarious degree. In one episode, he got hit with a spell that changed his voice and spent the whole of the closing credits trying (and failing) to persuade a friend not to come over to his place to find out what's going on. A special documentary episode was also made and was released on DVD, on the first volume of the second series.

Hey, It's That Voice!: Doc Martin is the Narrator; he is, of course, a prime example of a Lemony Narrator (with a good dollop of Deadpan Snarker thrown in, natch). Roger and the Rottentrolls (later shortened to just called The Rottentrolls) is a children's comedy television series made for ITV by The Children's Company, which combined puppets with live action human actors. It was first broadcast on 13 September 1996, and ended on 25 February 2000. The voices of the Rottentrolls were provided, in the first series, by John Thomson, Phil Cornwell and Rebecca Front. In later series Ronni Ancona replaced Rebecca Front. Other creaturesSeries 4 (2000)• 30 Commander Harris In Love - Commander Harris' training programme for the Troller's Ghyll SAS comes a cropper when he falls head over hooves in love with a beautiful sheep called Peaches. Tim's dad, Gordon, who had originally invented the characters, drew the designs for all the characters from which the puppets were made. Roger and the Rottentrolls started life as a book and audio tape, written by Tim Firth, commissioned by EMI and W.H. Smith, and produced by Robert Howes and The Childrens Company, intended as a 'spooky story' for children, part of a series of over 30 titles.
