The UK National Archives published a document, Redaction Toolkit, Guidelines for the Editing of Exempt Information from Documents Prior to Release, [1] "to provide guidance on the editing of exempt material from information held by public bodies." I love Arthur Kayzakian's The Book of Redacted Paintings for its lyricism and its honestly which comes at us not directly but by way of images and music and always speaks in tongues in a way that alerts and awakens. There is both hunger and wisdom in these poems, both silence inside the singing and the fresh music out of rooms that might have been silenced once. Not any more! The new, original, inimitable poet is in the room. Kayzakian deserves our warmest welcome." Firstly I would like to thank the people at Atlantic Books and Readers First for sending me a copy of this book. Although I was provided this book in exchange for a review, all the opinions and views discussed below are entirely my own.

Sensitivity readers had made the edits, which were evident in digital versions of the new editions, including the entire Miss Marple run and selected Poirot novels set to be released or that have been released since 2020, the Telegraph reported. As I have already stated, this book is raw and there are a lot of emotions flying about. I felt that I had a real emotional connection with the plot however I could not connect to any of the person. I felt like all of them irritated me in some way and there wasn't a person in the book that I could connect with.Michael is the distraught husband in the story, and through his own thoughts, his past, his talks with his therapist, we get to witness the way his mind is working and processing the tragic events. The glimpses we see of him before the atrocity lets us know he's not the nicest of characters himself - as a headteacher he wants his rules obeyed at all times and thinks nothing of disciplining the pupils in the most severe ways. There seems very little compassion to his personality - if you do wrong, there must be consequences. No matter if you're a pupil, his daughter... or a terrorist. Hypothesis: The curse works by driving the kin into a rage due to the application of extreme pain. Removal of higher brain functions should alleviate the curse. The character of Michael is a very complex one and slowly, with each revelation, the reader gets to see just how shaky his mental stability is under the buttoned-up surface of a forthright headmaster. If you enjoyed Consent, YOU and American Psycho, you’ll enjoy getting under the skin and into the mind of Michael as he tries to focus and openly justify his growing rage. Redaction may administratively require marking of the redacted area with the reason that the content is being restricted. US government documents released under the Freedom of Information Act are marked with exemption codes that denote the reason why the content has been withheld.

In the end, this reminded me of Andy Weir's "The Martian" in terms of character-building, attention to (most) detail(s), and excitement. It's more of a 'Young Adult' view of a revenge-killing story, but set in the real world with adult themes. He never delves too deeply into them, but provides just enough tidbits and details to wet the appetite. usually, i'll write notes as i'm reading, have a grand time, write up those notes for myself when i finish reading, then engage in some fun research to see what the consensus is (except maybe for ellroy books and a little life bc i refuse to read negative opinions about them. i'm weak). with this one, i did exactly that and i want to either comment on or refute some common claims and opinions, just in case you either 1, wanna read this book or 2, have read it, loved it, and want something to vehemently agree to at no point did i read thinking the point was for me to like michael - on the contrary, it's an exploration of grief and anger on this person; this specific person. it feels to me like people who complain about not connecting to the main character would have liked this story from the perspective of someone kinder, better, more 'relatable,' so they can make abstraction of the character completely and experience the narrative in first person. Method: The subject was transported to a broken world where the anima manifests as spiritual essence. Subject was restrained and these anima forms were harvested with the aid of one of the native priests who believed me to be an emissary of the spirits for some reason. Large numbers of the spirits were then transferred into the subject. It's not fair of the reader to judge a book for it's failure to match their high hopes but, I think it's a little fair if the writer contributes in the building of the reader's expectations. Anthony Good writes well, he builds a sharp, bullet-proof narrative but the outcome of all his efforts was quite disappointing. Now, if you've read the book yourself, you might tell me that was the whole point of it. And it may very well be but, I think ending the book with your reader feeling disappointed is a risk that is not without consequence.

Hypothesis: If the link is anima based, then it is reasonable to assume that it should be possible to overload it with an extreme application of anima. In other cases, such as the NSA report on the USS Liberty incident (right), the report may be sanitized to remove all sensitive data, so that the report may be released to the general public. The book is laid out in the form of diary entries which Micheal has been tasked to record by his therapist Angela as a way to get down his thought’s and try to deal with his grief over the loss of his wife. I have to admit, because of this start, stop, slightly all over the place way of recording his memories, it did take me a little while to get into the rhythm and flow of this story. At one point I almost put this aside as a DNF. However, the premise of the book really did intrigue me so I persisted on as I was still really intrigued where it was going.
