The characters and plot had me hooked from the beginning, it was so good in fact I read it in a day because I couldn't out it down. I was an ARC reviewer for the book Fierce King by author Sadie Kincaid. My review is based on my own opinions.

Ah! It’s like the author writes the action but never divulges into the emotions that may cause the action. So, as a reader, you just gotta trust she’s affected but you’ll never be able to actually feel it, how the heroine feels it.

I loved Alana….she’s no wishy washy Wife! Yes she may be in a situation that she was forced into, but it doesn’t change her passion or her caring nature at all. It’s Alana Carmichael’s wedding day, what should be happiest day of her life. This is no fairytale wedding. It’s her worst nightmare. She’s marrying The King of LA, the head of the Montoya crime family. Yes, Sadie did. When her podcast failed, she decided to pivot and focus more on her writing, which led to her successful book series.

This book was hard to put down, I was totally engaged the whole time AND that ending has me asking all sorts of questions !!!! This forced arranged marriage should leave her devoid of any feelings of love or lust towards Alejandro. She’s confused when he sets her skin on fire with just his touch. She shouldn’t be feeling this way. She should hate him. Her body is thinking otherwise.I couldn't bring myself to finish this. The writing was absolutely horrendous and extremely juvenile. There was only telling no showing and the dialogue was the cringiest thing I've read in a long time.
