On January 9, 2018, it was announced that Millie Bobby Brown would produce and star as the title character in a film series based on the Enola Holmes books. Using her knowledge of the language of flowers, she uncovers a sinister meaning and follows the trail to find out what happened to Dr Watson. So by that I mean that nothing was written here to stretch, but everything has to do with the case and the time around it.

Ciphers, coded newspaper messages, the meaning of flowers, sophisticated language and frequent references to Enola’s mother (who disappeared in the first book) will intrigue fans of the first two, though making it less independent as a stand-alone.
