In this jigsaw we see her many expressions - regal, joyful, intrigued, thoughtful, happy... and glorious. This 1000-piece puzzle has been created by the talented Robert Opie. In celebration of this historic occasion, we are launching three new royal-themed jigsaw puzzles. Our goal was to create a puzzle that can bring people together during these difficult times. So we undertook thorough research and development when designing this collection, which included care home visits, liaising with Age UK Centres and teaming up with Zoe Wryko , Consultant Geriatrician and member of the expert team on Channel 4's award-winning TV show, Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds. We have a wonderful range of jigsaw puzzles and wall hangings to celebrate the life of Her Majesty The Queen, including puzzles that celebrated her Platinum Jubilee - a remarkable way to remember that joyful occasion and the Queen's incredible 70-year reign. This 1000 piece puzzle has been created by the talented Robert Opie and was originally released in 2016, to celebrate Her Royal Highnesses 90th birthday. We loved the image and thought it captured the Queen’s elegance and personality perfectly, so we decided to give our customers another opportunity to appreciate the image, especially as there were only a limited number of copies printed for it’s initial release. After leaving Bradford Art College in 1979 with a Diploma in Art and Design, Trevor began his career as an art director at a London advertising agency. He returned to his native West Yorkshire a few years later and worked for several design studios and advertising agencies before going freelance in 1986. Commercial illustration work rekindled his love of painting and he was encouraged by finding a market for his work among the publishers of greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles, and art prints of his paintings are now sold worldwide. Trevor's paintings reflect his enthusiasm for steam and vintage vehicles and his fascination with recreating the past in pictures appears frequently in Gibsons nostalgic puzzle range.
