Many questions might arise when embarking on the adventure of growing tomatoes in grow bags. If using a support frame, ensure it is securely placed around the plant and embedded into the soil in the grow bag. The cane should be as tall or taller than the expected mature height of your tomato plant. Planting Process: Gently remove the tomato seedling from its nursery pot, taking care not to damage the roots. Place the seedling in the hole you’ve prepared in the grow bag. Fill the hole with soil, firming it gently around the base of the plant. Remember, if you have a large grow bag and are planting more than one seedling, ensure enough space between the plants. A distance of about 60cm (24 inches) is generally recommended.
