Don’t get me wrong, I like the emotional turmoil and the angst that comes from a hard life (like Rosie’s) but I just don’t like how she constantly acts like she’s the most unfortunate person on earth. Get a grip. Life’s a bitch to many people. She sometimes acted like she was the only one to have had a hard time and an emotionally traumatic experience. She isn’t, and she needed to stop with the self pity. The only things I will say is the amount of times her size was referenced ☠️ We get it, she’s “pint-sized” and I don’t need to read about her taking her bra off or wanting to when she gets home every other chapter. They constantly said they were BFF but yet NEVER communicated their feelings or what they wanted from each other. And it just dragged.

Garret and Jennie. I’m still traumatized by their book 🤮 Hands down the worst couple in this series, and I hated being reminded of their neighbor he messed around with, and how they’re all still tight. I feel like we waited forever for this book & I was so excited but unfortunately this one just fell flat for me for multiple reasons. If I had to choose between you and Oreos for the rest of my life, I'd choose you every day, always.❞ The problem I have with this is that in the single parent trope, these situations don't feel genuine like a typical drama involving OM/OW would. They come across as nothing more than a plot device to establish the main character's superiority by demeaning the secondary character. As a reader, I didn't feel like the ex was written with the intention of creating a genuine third-party conflict (although I'm not a big fan of those either), but rather to show how good of a dad, boyfriend, lover the main character is and how much better he is than the actual father. Once he starts talking….👀👀 I didn’t want him to stop.😮‍💨🥵 Not having the intention of getting into a relationship, he’s been a little playa, but that doesn’t last long. Especially when Jennie moves into the same building as him.🤭 Overall, there’s wasn’t much plot here. A lot of side characters with “funny” ( depends on what you find funny) antics and a lot of melodramatic sentiments coming from both main characters. Over the twenty plus hours, this journey deeply immerses you in two people’s lives.. you meet their band of friends.. you share in their weaknesses, their blossoming feelings, their torn emotions, their crossroads, their strengths and their hard-won love. You step alongside them as one by one they cross hurdles and lower defences to step ever closer despite the heartbreak risk. And these two roll with the punches, they slowly grow, they find the way to trust and they finally find their forever.

Inexperienced fmc or where’s she’s never had an orgasm. THAT'S THREE TIMES IN A ROW, and they're always paired with a manhoe/experienced mmc 😒😒😒😒😒 I'm so tired, y'all. Reread as an audiobook and still absolutely LOVED!!! Definitely my favorite of the series so far. Love Garrett and Jennie to the ends of the earth. 💛 homegirl is 5'1. that isn't a disability. that isn't even that funny. people are 5'1 everywhere. my friend is 5'1. …i'm actually starting to be worry that i haven't been as supportive to her as i could have been during this tough, tough time. i guess i just never realized life was so hard for them down there. i know it's insensitive of me, but- Ollie, also known as Olivia Parker, is the world's cutest kitten. She is fierce and snarky but so soft and gooey on the inside.

I could float through the rest of my life content in knowing I’ve held perfection in these arms.” (Adam)

I absolutely hate single parent if the ex is still in the picture. I love single dad/mom and this was so good because Rosie is a mom of a cute little toddler I adore. But this pet peve of mine makes me skeptical and anxious about reading it further. I don't enjoy the constant comparison to the ex, knowing that he will eventually become a source of conflict and likely be portrayed as the bad guy. It's also predictable that the main character will be shown as a better parent compared to the actual parent, with the child obviously favoring the main character. he won't stop touching her or being in her space or talking to her over and over and over and over. She does it, but she sure drags her ass about it, slowly pulling her sweater over her head, and I don’t know whether to laugh at her or cry for her. Because the shirt she wears underneath sports one simple sentence: I HEART DILFs.Losing you. Connor’s is the only love I’ve ever got to keep.” “You can keep mine. It belongs to you.”

The heroine’s repeated monologue of “ I have never been loved, and that’s all I ever wanted” got pretty old, pretty fast.
