Everyone told me this would be the best one but I didn’t like it for some reason. I wasn’t expecting to like it tbh cuz Stella didn’t seem interesting in the other books. Also Christian was unnecessarily stalker ish i was not into him at all. LIKE COME ON. He should’ve shot a guy in front of her. I’d love to see Huang work through that scene. I feel like she took lots of easy routes to get through the problems. and the excuses people use for his actions are ridiculous “she stole from him” yeah because she was running from her past which was not his business.

The fake dating plot was fitting but there was too much going on. The stalking, the plot twist, the second plot line that came into the book at 80%, the overall social media drama. okay i know this is not much of a big issue but stella being 180cms and almost as tall as christian made my tall ass so happy bc i can’t even remember when was the last time i read a book that fmc is +170 🤭 Twisted Lies is a long, slow-burn, spicy, and little dark romance. There’s something magnetic about them. I didn’t want to put it down. Previous books were not THAT good for me they didn’t reach my 4-star category but this one did.

There were so many small parts of the book that I noticed and just really hated. Like christian telling Stella he doesn’t want any men looking at her, or touching her. And if they do, Christian will kill them. And Christian wants to be able to touch Stella, and if he can’t; then he will die. Those are his exact words. So, I don’t know if that was meant to be attractive or romantic, but honestly— it just sounded like manipulation, possessiveness, and obsession to me. Her and Bridget are my favourites girls from the series and Stella's personality really shone in this book. Books can provide us with knowledge, entertainment, and the ability to explore new worlds, characters, and ideas. Reading can also help improve our vocabulary, language skills, critical thinking, and empathy.Books offer us the opportunity to learn about different cultures, perspectives, and experiences, which can broaden our understanding of the world and ourselves. Reading can also be a form of escape and a way to relax and reduce stress.

Now concerning the plot... Christian's character was fine and solid, the kind of personality you expect from a story plot like that and, to be honest, the reason you read it in the first place. The big plot hole, in my opinion, was Stella. As a woman, I want the main female character to be strong, not weak. Example: Stella is described as a constantly stay-at-home employee with big dreams of fashion, clothes designing and blogging. Nothing original, nothing special about it, in the US no less. But fashion is art, there is structure and philosophy... something you can learn by reading great Houses' history, such as Coco Channel or DG. The author made it seem so boring, so pedestrian... kind of girly.Before starting this book I already liked Christian Harper I was also afraid ‘what if this book ruins it?’ But thankfully it didn’t completely ruin it. Stella Alonso and Christian Harper are my favorite book couple for sure. What I Didn’t Like Twisted Love is my next favourite book. I personally feel that Alex was sometimes a bit too pushy. However, I love how all the couples in each book are different. Alex and Ava's story is complicated and was hard to follow at first. But the ending of the book was possibly the best ending of the series.
