Anyone who has used an Aegis should know what to expect in the design and build quality department by now. The M100 does a great job of being like its predecessors. It’s nicely built. It feels solid, not cheap or flimsy, and there’s some heft to it for sure. The fire button is rectangular but with the edges cut through on the front of the mod and slightly angled up on the bottom, same as in most of their other mods. Adjustment buttons: A vape mod typically has two adjustment buttons, up and down, but some vape mods have a third function/select button. These buttons are what you use to change modes, enter the menu, and change various settings on your mod.

My current MTL build on another mod is pulling 6 volts from the mod, and the coil is 1.3 ohms. This is on a DNA mod , that does 8.4 volts all day. Because it has a Boost chip installed, all DNA chips do. It’s hard to find anything wrong with the M100. While it’s not radically different from any of the previous Aegis mods and not that big of an upgrade from the original Aegis Mini, the M100 delivers solid performance in both power and TC modes. The stable wattage output makes it a pleasure to use because the draw stays strong and consistent even as the battery gets near to dying. The battery life is decent and charging times are not too bad at just around an hour and 15 minutes for a full charge.Regulated vape mods can either use an internal built-in battery or replaceable batteries. Mechanical mods only use replaceable batteries. The battery set up that a mod uses defines a lot about the mod itself like the size, power output, and battery life. Let’s start from Aegis Mini 2’s TC mode. The temperature range it offers is wide enough from 100 to 315°C, from which we can set a value we like to heat our e-liquid. As the heating temperature varies, so does the vapor’s temperature, amount, flavor and intensity. That’s why the TC mode plays a vital role in making a vaping device easy and customizable. We don’t have to manually adjust power output to vaporize the e-liquid at a constant temperature—the device can do it automatically, bravo! We heated it up to 200°C along the way. Every draw we took was stable, smooth and under control. Variable Power Curve Mode In an unregulated or mechanical box mod, there is no chipset regulating power or providing any safety features. When you press the fire button, the full voltage of your battery is supplied to the atomizer.

Bypass mode on a regulated mod is an interesting feature. It allows the user to use their mod as if it were unregulated. Instead of setting the power to the coil using wattage adjustment, the power output is determined by the remaining voltage of your battery and your coil resistance. This mode is as close in functionality as you can get to a mechanical mod while keeping all of the safety features of a regulated mod. It is also great if you don’t want to mess around with settings.
