Description

We pummelled the Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB with a test that was drawing 660W-700W at the wall socket and regardless of the fan configuration we saw very little change in the temperatures of the CPU and GPU. Under the chassis, we find it supported on wide steel feet that are screwed to the bottom of the chassis. The interior is spacious, supporting even E-ATX motherboards (you’ll need to remove the cable management shroud for this), so you should have enough room for everything from standard build to full custom water cooling loops. But if lots of RGB and ports, excellent IO and room for big components are features you’re after, the Corsair iCue 5000T delivers. The drive cage’s first position forward gives the power supply another 20mm of space while impinging on the lowest fan mount of the side panel bracket.

Then again, there is the mess with the CPU cooler access hole too, where you either have to make sure not to wire anything permanently, or you will need to pull the motherboard to change coolers. At TechNextDay, we’re not only a seller of PC components, but also a partner in your passion for computing. Removing the second sheet reveals slots for adjustable mounting of three 120mm or two 140mm fans, on a structural panel that sits a full 85mm above the motherboard’s top edge. Rather than be encased with glass on all four sides, the 5000X has a smoked glass side panel to show off all of your components but a mesh front for improved airflow from its three intake fans. However, with so much wiring from the hub to the fans, we grabbed it, stuffed it in the trail, and strapped it into place. Here, you get the unobstructed mesh front panel that does a great job of showing off the pre-installed Corsair LL120 RGB fans. Seamlessly synchronize your lighting and maintain optimal system temperatures, all from a single device. The inside of the case offers plenty of space for your components as well as for generous cooling solutions. We also like how the corners are angled and done smoothly, which plays well with the rest of the styling.

We mentioned a second option for the front of the PSU shroud, and the part on the right is what was sent.

So rather than a manual or a chassis guide in some form, all we found was the safety information on disposing of the bits in certain states.
