Unilever this week unveiled Day2 – “the world’s first dry-wash spray for clothes” according to the fmcg giant. Add that with a boyfriend who likes to confirm washing is ‘dirty’ after wearing it to a 2 hour parental class and you’re faced with even more washing and ironing to do than you should be! The new laundry brand came in response to the fact “40% of clothes in the washing machine are not actually dirty” the company added.Day 2 is a fine mist spray that instantly revives worn clothes, and somehow irons your clothes, leaving them fresher and feeling just washed. However, I did find that spraying and smoothing out both the front AND back of the t-shirt gave it an extra bit of love.

They mention that it leaves their clothes smelling really nice, it helps remove creases and that its an excellent product to freshen up your clothes. I found it worked particularly well at clothes that needed a little bit of a freshen up, but a little more TLC was required for those crumpled cotton t-shirts that crave an iron so bad. Just a heads up; the brand doesn't recommend using the product on properly dirty clothes, but if there's no stains?
