Description

Battery lasts 3.5 hours on battery saver mode or 2 hours on standard mode broghtness does drop slightly when in battery saver mode but not by much The late 1800s saw the invention of the overhead projector and the Zoopraxiscope and Panopticon - two of the first movie projectors ever made - all of which use a basic lamp projection system that consists of lenses and a light source. Old school overhead projectors use a physical source (e.g. ink transparencies) to input the image, while modern projectors such as the Nebula Astro projector (pictured) uses a digital input source such as a computer.Like most pico type projectors, Nebula Astro has a short throw ratio (1.3), which is perfect for small rooms or portable use because you can position the projector relatively close and still get a clear picture. Long throw projectors, in the other hand, require a minimum distance of at least 72 inches (6ft). There are two connectivity ports on the rear of Astro, namely a USB-C port (charging only) and a HDMI port that is compatible with any HDMI enabled device such as video games console, laptop, iPhone (via a Lightning to HDMI adapter) or Android phone via a C-HDMI adapter (not included). The HDMI port uses the HDMI 1.4 version; hence it supports up to 1080p (60Hz) input. The remote has 18 buttons, including directional buttons for navigating through menus and moving the mouse cursor, which is activated via the mouse button on the remote. The mouse function works, although it's not an "air mouse" remote that you can waive around like a magic wand. Aside from the physical remote, you can also use the Nebula connect mobile app to control Astro.Eye Guard Tech provides added protection for curious kids who take an interest in Astro’s bright DLP bulb. If anyone comes within 60 cm of the front of the bulb, Astro switches off projection automatically, protecting their eyes. A few years ago, these mini projectors were still hard to recommend despite their convenience. 'Pico' projectors had dim light sources that couldn't do justice to colours or contrast, even in a darkened room.

This is Anker's best Nebula projector to date and also a very, very good portable in its own right. Feature-wise, it's got almost everything one could need in an outdoor/portable projector. There's an excellent smart platform, a three-hour battery life, a good degree of brightness and plenty of source material options. this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. Notice: Shielded cables this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The resolution is 854×480, with a very bright bulb. It features autofocus and automatic keystone correction. These make it the perfect travel entertainment system.Unforgettable Audio: Hear every whisper, explosion, and song in incredible clarity with Dolby Digital Plus and the dual 3W speakers. The sound is so powerful and clear that you can even use Solar as a portable Bluetooth speaker. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. The only thing worthy of mention as a very slight negative is the noise from the fan. It isn't silent, but then again, it isn't ridiculously loud either, though I can imagine some may find it a distraction if you're expecting complete silence, like from a telly! This portable projector comes with a 65watt usb c pd charger that can be used to power other devices that support usb c charging If you find yourself in the need for an Android project, I think there are better cheaper options. Though the Nebula Astro Portable Projector is an all-in-one solution with specs that can’t be sniffed at.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. Anker are consistently sending timely updates to improve the projector in various ways so great support from there end This product complies with the radio interference requirements of the European Community. Declaration of Conformity The autofocus works a treat, as does the auto keystone feature. I've never had to manually adjust it myself so far.

The charger type is DST451-150300W-K with output voltage / current of DC 15V / 3A. The plug of the adapter is considered as the disconnect device. Once unplugged, the charger is considered as disconnected from the power source. Being a 480p DLP projector, Astro supports standard definition (SD); hence the resolution won't be sharp enough for watching HD content or playing modern games (e.g. Call Of Duty), unless they are older 2D type games. If you're looking for HD (high definition), you need a 720p or 1080p projector such as the Solar Portable projector.
