My favourite existing James and the Giant peach covers happen to actually be from the film, therefore the illustrations maybe aren't as relevant to the book which is (most popularly) illustrated by Quentin Blake, however, regardless I like the tree and the type - although I don't like 'and the', it looks kind of like a last minute thought. Comment: The spine or cover may be slightly worn but the book is otherwise in good condition and will provide thought provoking read!

I was heavily inspired by traditional book design when it came to the typography and typesetting because of the classic nature and history of this book: careful attention was given when typesetting the justified blocks of text for an ultimately traditional and refined feeling. Worn at lower corners; jacket slightly toned, extremities a little rubbed, small nick to foot of spine, unclipped: a near-fine copy in a very good jacket. I am curious how you will work further: having the peach still readable as a peach and making sure it gets enough attention.
