When I started reading the first book, I was thrown off by the fact that it wasn't about Percy. It felt a little weird to be following around a random guy named Jason and have no clue what's going on with the hero you've spent the last five books building a relationship with. But that was exactly the point, and it worked out great. I liked the emotions and that confusion came through so well, the fact that no one really knew what was going on; it made it feel like we were on this journey together. I think the ending of this book, which is the big "something changes everything" idea that I referred to earlier was PERFECT. It made so much sense and really brought the whole Greek mythology foundation of this series to another level. It really opened things up to different possibilities. I won't say what it is because the moment you realize what's happening is pretty great. Just trust me lol. Conflict can be a necessity in interaction, but this is cheap. The no-nonsense girl and goofy boy stereotype is overused anyway.

Describe a characters outfit or hairstyle in one or two sentences, if you must describe them at all. Only one thing is certain - Percy's questing days aren't over. He and fellow demigods Frank and Hazel must face the most important quest of all: the Prophecy of Seven. If they fail, it's not just their camp at risk. Percy's old life, the gods, and the entire world might be destroyed . . . Other Characters- Gaea, I hate her. The giants, I hate them, they are terrible. Who else? Octavian, I don't like him. Shimmering,""shining," "glittering," "sparkling" "bright," and other adjectives that have to do with light are go-to cliches when writers describe things.

Titles in the Set; The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena, The House of Hades, The Blood of Olympus.Hazel Levesque- Hazel is such a strong and unique character. She is so amazing, I love her. She was the youngest of the Seven but at the same time, she was the oldest, at only the age of 13. Nico di Angelo- He is probably my favorite male character ever, he is amazing and I love him. He has gone through so much and he is only 14(although he is only supposed to be 13). He has harbored so much pain and heartbreak, I just want to give him a hug. He is also my brother. I remembered I kind of wished (in PJO) that it would be awesome if they traveled to Greece too. & BOOM! My wish was granted! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW. DO NOT READ BEYOND THIS POINT IF YOU ARE GONNA WHINE ABOUT SPOILERS!!**** She couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to go terribly wrong. She couldn't risk losing Percy again.

You only need a few sentences to set an atmosphere. It's obvious when an author doesn't know how to imagine their own setting. The sale of customised goods or perishable goods, sealed audio or video recordings, or software, which has been opened. Dialogue tags are almost never necessary, let alone adjectives to describe how somebody said or did something. Most power comes from verbs. There were a lot of couples involved in this series, and I don't want to say too much about them in particular, but some couples showed more growth than others. Percy and Annabeth have always been a great couple, but they put the rest to shame in this series lol. I loved the way they were together, both as a couple and as teammates/leaders/warriors/anything really. There was not enough Percy in the series though; you don't get his POV as much as I would have liked.

Games

Though the Greek and Roman crew members of the Argo II have made progress in their many quests, they still seem no closer to defeating the earth mother, Gaea. Her giants have risen - all of them - and they're stronger than ever. It's okay to use some shortcuts like telling vs. showing or some adjectives if you're summarizing for some reason (possibly to begin or end a story/chapter/scene). Final Thoughts- Each book was amazing in their own way. The Lost Hero was my least favorite, though.
