The SmartFence is a unique and patented concept for setting up a complete fence in just a matter of minutes. The whole system contains posts, conductors and reels. For extra quality the posts have a reinforced base, which makes them easier to put in the ground. Permanent fencing, as the name suggests, is fencing that is not movable. This is ideal for enclosing a herd of horses, cows, etc. The materials for a permanent fence are different from those for mobile fencing. Gallagher, for instance, offers various types of field gates for permanent enclosures. Mobile fencing The energiser can also be operated and turned on/off from the external display and you get immediate notification of power loss e.g if a branch has fallen onto the fence or a wire has been cut. Fencing materialsWith the SmartFence 2.0 you get yourself a mobile fence of 100 metres. Set set consists of 10 posts, 4 wires and 4 reels. The set is convenient, easy to take along and to stow away. The wire distances from the ground are: 15 cm, 30 cm, 50 cm, 70 cm or optionally 90 cm. The height of the fence varies depending on the situation and the animal you want to fence in. An electric fence is a barrier used to keep your animals safely within your enclosure or to keep other animals out. Fencing is also very suitable for dividing pastures into multiple sections. Types of fencing The M5000i is an extremely powerful, intelligent fence energiser that is suitable for multiple wire fences up to 100 km. The Gallagher M5000i can be expanded with various i Series accessories, including an i Series alarm system, flashing light, siren, maximum 6 fencing monitor(s) and an SMS module. I connect the Smart Fence to our permeant electric fence with jumper cables (for electric fences). Then the portable electric fence is powered from the energizer in our barn.
