Description

Bane eventually finds his father, the unscrupulous King Snake, in the "Veritas Liberat" storyline (Gotham Knights #47-49, January - March 2004). Bane, with Batman looking on, helps foil King Snake's plans to unleash a powerful weapon upon the world. Bane saves Batman from being shot by King Snake but is mortally wounded in the process. Batman then saves Bane by bathing him in a Lazarus Pit and leaves him with a clean slate and a new opportunity at life. The clangour inside a fully active Baneblade rivals that of all but the most apocalyptic of conflicts. Thunderous blasts reverberate throughout the hull every time the primary weapon is fired. A high-pitched clatter fills the stifling air as an unending cascade of spent shell casings rains down through grills into collection receptacles. Even the scratching of quill on parchment is deafening as reams of cogitative data are hastily recorded by batteries of auto-scribes.

A Baneblade is a massive war machine, requiring a crew of ten individuals to function properly. The functions of a Baneblade crew include: Escapologist: He is surpassed only by Batman, Nightwing, and Mister Miracle in the art of escape and infiltration. However, Bane the Shadowblade also uses this costume. So, when you’re searching for them on the road, make sure to hit any cloaked humans; it is likely that they are the boss you are looking for. Bane the Shadowblade Rewards The Banesword does something very sneaky, which makes it pretty neat, and probably a lot more practical than the Shadowsword. (Well, everything is more practical than the Shadowsword.)

By 460 DR, the archmage Demron was asked to complete another baneblade, though this one was for the Spell-Major, since the traditional sword for that post, the Ary'Faern'Kerym, was lost 10 years earlier by Zaos Durothil when he attempted to fight off the red dragon Edallisufanxar. This blade was known as Faervian, and was completed only two years later in 462 DR. This was the only one created for the Akh'Faer, the arcane branch of the army. [2] Malevolentia - Malevolentia was a Baneblade commanded by Lord General Raji Nethata of the Galamoth Armoured during the Purge of the Contqual Sub-sector. Superhuman Speed/Reflexes: His speed and reflexes are also superhuman with Venom, making him able to run, move, and reach beyond the limits of the finest human athlete. Tank Commander - The Tank Commander is the senior officer on board the vehicle (with a rank of at least Lieutenant). The Tank Commander serves to coordinate the massive tank's responses to any given situation. In 574 DR, Demron was asked once again to craft another baneblade, a fifth one, to serve as the blade for the Arms-Major of the Akh'Velahr (the normal standing army of Cormanthyr). It was completed later that year and named Dragathil. [2] But where the Stormsword Seige Cannon gets really useful is if you happen to be in cover, because you get NO cover save from the Stormsword. Also, it rerolls Damage rolls of 1. So, pretty brutal. I imagine that if the Stormsword had a perfect enemy it would be the Imperial Fists? Are the Imperial Guard creating Baneblade variants with the sole reason of destroying individual chapters of the Space Marines? Hellhammer Variant: The Close Combat Tank The Baneblade possesses a powerful set of armaments. The standard Baneblade complement includes a turret-mounted Mega Battle Cannon, also known as the Baneblade Cannon, which includes a coaxial Autocannon, three sets of twin-linked Heavy Bolters (one sponson-mounted set on either side, and one turret-mounted on the front hull slope), two turret-mounted Lascannons on either side, mounted directly above the side sponsons, and lastly, a fixed-forward hull-mounted Demolisher Cannon. Polymath: He is exceptionally knowledgeable in various subjects including various Sciences, History, Geology, Medicine, and several others.

You're getting +2 Rot from this Treasure. Very useful if you're going for a Corruption build, but a burden otherwise. This is not something you can just overcome with a single Cleansing Wyld. So it's likely you'll have to take 1 damage per dawn for the rest of the game.Kenner released different versions of Bane for each of its Batman: The Animated Series, Batman & Robin, and Legends Of The Dark Knight action figure lines. Bastion of Valour - The Bastion of Valour was part of the Astra Militarum forces defending the Hive World of Luteus Alpha against the advancing tides of WAAAGH! Gutrekka. The Bastion of Valour was destroyed during the defence of the hive city of Luteus Prime by Orks. While conflicting accounts exist on the nature of the Baneblade's destruction, it is widely accepted that it was destroyed by a Flash Git-turned- warboss named Gargaz Teefgrabba, either solo or with a group of allied Orks.
