Description

It’s the most forgotten song here [totally undeserved] and could have appeared in any number of US television shows – Remington Steele, Moonlighting, Sledgehammer, Wiseguy etc. As if that wasn’t enough Bananarama put a bid in for most “under the radar” SAW tune with the wistful Trick Of The Night. A Video Selection was also released featuring selected tracks from the main album release, and one which didn't appear on any NOW album.

Now 10 was the first double CD in a "Fat Box" - perhaps they will continue to re-issue the "Fat Box" releases in the slim cases? If an internal link led you here, you may wish to change the link to point directly to the intended article. The album was the first in the series to include radio remixes of some tracks, rather than the originals. got to go and have some hits by themselves (great vocals too now that they’re not playing second fiddle to George Michael! You Sexy Thing was remixed by Ben Liebrand and primarily used to promote The Very Best of Hot Chocolate.Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description.

years on and my fondness for the selections has grown – so much so that I think it’s skipped past Now 4 in the rankings. It went head-to-head with the Housemartins’ Caravan Of Love for the all-important Christmas number one.

I’ve spent my adulthood in goth clubs hearing the Nightwish cover, but I prefer this original version. I never got how A-ha, Simply Red and Pretenders managed to be included here given how both group were on labels probably more commonly associated with the “Hits” series. The album version of " Turn Off the Light" by Nelly Furtado is included over the popular remix featuring Ms. Otherwise I am not sure if I’d describe Simply Red’s The Right Thing as a Balearic classic but the funk is definitely there.

fm, compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information. However this method contains some madness as three of the seven number ones are not on board [Caravan Of Love, Jack Your Body and The Final Countdown]. Double CD re-issue coming on July 23, 2021, the track listing has no omissions - I wonder of they will use the "correct" version of "You Sexy Thing?Would it maybe be the case that the team behind “Hits” had first dibs on these tracks but the labels involved were happy to licence tracks to EMI/Virgin for inclusion on “Now” as long as there was no Hits albums around at the same time? A video selection was also released featuring selected tracks from the main album and some which did not appear on any Now album. All subsequent releases starting from Now 10 onwards would have a full double CD release with all tracks included.

Condition - This item is in Excellent condition or better (unless it says otherwise in the above description). I do wonder whether the other A-ha and Simply Red tracks that turned up on Hits compilations would have found their way onto Now albums instead had there not been a Hits Album out at the time for them to be included on. backing singers Pepsi and Shirlie had struck out on their own by January; Heartache is a pop classic.

Solo Freddie can be divided into good [Love Kills, Barcelona], mediocre [Living On My Own] and tosh [The Great Pretender].
