Fill any surface defects, imperfections, or open joints with an appropriate filler such as Sadolin Stainable Woodfiller. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, or when air / substrate temperatures are below 8 °C or above 25 °C, or if the relative humidity is above 80% during application or drying periods. In higher traffic areas you may need a yearly maintenance, if you do require a hard wearing surface for interiors we recommend a system of one coat Classic and two coats Sadolin Extra Durable Varnish. For exterior surfaces a system of one coat Classic and two coats Extra Durable Woodstain is recommended for extra protection. Do not apply more than one coat of Classic in these systems as it can cause the top coats to not adhere to the surface.
