Moses wanted the people to comprehend that God Himself had always been and would always be their permanent, immovable, unshakeable, eternal home. The Lord was their place of shelter and refuge, and His everlasting, all-powerful arms would forever be under them to uphold and carry them through life. Our choices reveal what kind of persons we are, but there is another side to the coin. We may, by our choices, also determine what kind of persons we will become. We humans are not only in a state of being, we are in a state of becoming;” They who believe the Christian revelation know that the universe is a creation. This story revolves around Cissy Brodie, a 15 year old girl who is left to care for her numerous siblings when her parents die. If that wasn't enough, they are evicted from their home. Cissy is determined to keep the family together and so, sets out to create a "dwelling place" from a cave on the fells. The Dwelling Place is the organization serving Montgomery County, MD that breaks the cycle of generational homelessness by working to help families experience a life free from fear and gain opportunities for long-term stability . Cissie ends up having the baby (at the very same time as Matthew’s wedding reception – SYMBOLISM), and it survives. And man, is Daddy Fischel surprised when she doesn’t want to sell her kid! You get thirty minutes of this: A great story that really reads as a non-fiction novel. During that time in history this really does portray how very difficult and downtrodden the underclass was and how children were used in dangerous work. A masterful read.Best part of this entire miniseries: Clive is SUPER SURPRISED that Cissie keeps trying to avoid him, and he keeps chasing her down and pinning her to the ground and to cave walls and stuff, totally indignant. I know it’s a terrible situation, but it’s so badly done that what is supposed to be creepy is hysterically funny instead. Period drama serial The Dwelling Place was another entry in the series of Catherine Cookson adaptations made by Tyne Tees throughout the 1990’s. I had rather believe all the fables in the Legend, and the Talmud, and the Alcoram," said Bacon, "than that this universal frame is without a mind. And therefore God never wrought miracles to convince atheism, because His ordinary works convince it.” Instead, Scott told worshippers about the importance of names and shared several Bible verses, including one from the New Testament Book of Revelation about God dwelling among his people. The Dwelling Place’s departure reveals some of the Vineyard’s institutional weaknesses — as its churches act mostly independently and most cooperation is based on the friendship of pastors rather than formal structures.

THE MAN WHO IS SERIOUSLY CONVINCED that he deserves to go to hell is not likely to go there, while the man who believes that he is worthy of heaven will certainly never enter that blessed place.” Thomas, Robert McG Jr. (12 June 1998). "Catherine Cookson, 91, Prolific British Author". The New York Times . Retrieved 15 January 2018.It reminds us that God is making everything new,” he said, “that one day all of humanity and all of history ends up at the feet of Jesus and God’s dwelling place is with us.” So, The Dwelling Place is about the fiercely beautiful and clever Cissie Brodie, who marries her rapist. So there's Cissie and her brood, Matthew the Wheelwright, and then Lord Fischel and his mansion and awful (adult) children, Clive and Isabelle. Isabelle is about as evil as a villain can be.

Ok, it seems there are many contradictions regarding the plot of this story and personally, I feel, this is as a result of many who had watched the mini-series believing the novel is accurate to the tv/movie adaptation, which it is not.
