Before diving into the review, let’s talk about Luxodor for a moment. Luxodor is a UAE-based fragrance brand. Luxodor is renowned for offering affordable clones of popular fragrances. And here I’m with Loyal Agar, the clone of PDM Layton. In fact, the base is more “Laytonish” than the Layton itself. In the time of base, it was still providing 3ft-4ft scent cloud. That time I was like, “My God! I found a gem”. Before diving into other specifications, let me rave about the density first. Royal Equestrian is denser and darker than PDM Layton. Look, PDM Layton is airier. For this, PDM Layton is definitely easier to wear and to match with warm weather. They prepared a fantastic combination of wood, vanilla, and spices in the base, which is the main attraction of this fragrance. First of all, the price range of Royal Equestrian is pretty good. It’s neither much costly nor cheap. And probably, this is the most expensive clone on this list.

The top notes of Layton are apple, lavender, mandarin orange, and bergamot. In the middle, they chose violet, jasmine, and geranium. Additionally, the performance of this cologne fantastic. I got around 9hrs of projection with 4hrs of solid projection. The bottle design is classy and elegant also. Honestly, It’s tough to blindfold this cheap clone which performs way better than the original. Miss this gem at your own risk. In summary, Dusk is one of the closest alternatives to PDM Layton. They used the same note, and the performance also imitates Layton.Just like PDM Layton, the longevity and the projection level of Royal Equestrian is also staggering. It easily lasts like 8-10hrs with a heavy projection.

We all love the smooth apple opening of PDM Layton, but Loyal Agar starts with dry amber and bergamot, which is very distant from the PDM Layton.There are no similarities in the notes. Trust me, after wearing Royal Equestrian; people won’t be able to differentiate Royal Equestrian from PDM Layton. If you look at the notes of this cologne, you might not see any differences between Dusk and Layton. Look, this is not the “Ultimate” Layton clone. As you can see, the opening is not the same; even the drydown acts differently. But surprisingly, after an hour, it perfectly mimics the drydown of PDM Layton. You’ll find the same woody vibe along with some spices and vanilla, just like the Layton.

If we compare Loyal agar side by side with PDM Layton, there are some differences. Loyal Agar is less fruity and sweet than Layton. On the other hand, Loyal Agar is better in the case of performance. However, the opening of CS I is not the same as PDM Layton. PDM Layton opens with an apple burst, but CS I opens with bergamot and some flowers in this case. It seems complex and natural, with a slight floral and woody undertone, but it's completely synthetic;I think it's Coranol. You have smelled the familiar metallic accent of this fresh transparent note in combination with others, especially in men's fragrances. For example, in Dune for Men, Issey Miyake Pour Homme, andBvlgari for Men. A slight hint of green apple and violet powder were added to fill the bare freshness with a white cloud.
