As you’ll soon discover, your Einhyr Hearthguard shrug off damage during even the worst of times. The combination of their Exo-armour ability and the faction-wide Void Armour will see to their safety.

Warhammer Community: Exo-Armour Turns Leagues of Votann Elites Into Mountains of Muscle and Guns (posted 04/07/2022) (last accessed 04/07/2022) Known as Living Ancestors, the Grimnyr use strange barrier tech to manipulate the immaterium and manifest deadly psychic powers. They are among the few privy to the Votann themselves, deciphering their wisdom and acting as something of a priesthood to their Kinbands.* Einhyr Champion I highly appreciate how easy it was to magnetize, with each gun being a completely self contained part without any overlapping pieces and attaching via a simple peg. You could probably get away without using any magnets and just leave the turrets loose if you wanted honestly. The Kin are a highly practical people in every area of life, not least in war. Their leaders make swift and careful calculations before and during battle, constantly striving to determine if the potential reward of conflict is worth the inevitable loss of resources and precious Kin lives. An essential part of this is what is known as casting the Eye of the Ancestors, through which Kin commanders assess the greatest enemy threats, mark weak points in their defences and determine what forces are needed to overcome both.If your Army Faction is LEAGUES OF VOTANN, each time an enemy unit destroys a LEAGUES OF VOTANN unit from your army, that enemy unit gains 1 Judgement token. An enemy unit can never have more than 2 Judgement tokens (any further Judgement tokens a unit would gain beyond this are ignored). To compensate for this massive loss in durability, all of our units gained 1 point of toughness (more than 1 for vehicles in line with other armies). Oh whoops did I say all our units? I meant all our units except Uthar and Beserks. I am not really sure why they decided to skip these 2 units, maybe they forgot they were already T5? I can see the argument for Beserks not getting a boost because they don’t even wear shirts, but come on GW they literally have metal arms and skulls and stuff.

The other unit that was already previewed, T12, BS4/WS4, 2 sets of twin linked bolt or ion now, turret weapon of choice. Warhead still replaces the scanner which grants ignores cover, so yeah no reason to take the Warhead still. Transports 12 models, exo is 2 slots, exo armor is 3, so Hearthguard/Thunderkyn still only fit if small size unit. Since it has the fire support rule, this is one of the best setups for Thunderkyn dealing damage to monsters (reroll wounds) and Heathguard fishing for mortals on volkite, but since again only small size units fit, the question of larger units still being better maybe is there.Furthermore, this force appears to have you covered very well in both melee and shooting, with tough units to boot – the perfect kind of army list you want for a Boarding Patrol. Boarding Patrol: Leagues of Votann – Value Once you have selected an eligible unit to declare a charge, you must select one or more enemy units within 12" of it as the targets of that charge. The targets of a charge do not need to be visible to the charging unit. Much of the history of the old-school Squats (more on them below) has made it intoWarhammer 40k’s brand new, refreshed Leagues of Votann lore. Just like the Squats, the Leagues are the descendants of early human space colonists and prospectors who settled in the hazardous, mineral-rich galactic core. But there are some important differences. At the end of each of your opponent’s turns, you can select one enemy unit within range of an objective marker that your opponent controls. That unit gains 1 Judgement token.
