A Care Bears video game was planned for the Atari 2600 in 1983. Funshine and Grumpy attempt to make a boy named Peter break the rules of Care-a-Lot, but they accidentally turn him into a crazy monster! The premiere of the series, along with Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, saw The Hub earn its best performances amongst targeted demographics in six months. 10. Funshine Bear

The Care Bears help a girl named Hannah conquer her fear of sleeping away from home and getting her Camping Badge. The second Care Bears theatrical film tells the story of how the bears and Care-A-Lot came to be. After being rescued from the clutches of the evil Dark Heart, the villain once again plans to capture all the denizens of Care-a-Lot. Funshine is among the many bears and cousins who are imprisoned in his secret lair. When the franchise was introduced in the 1980s, a mistake was made while manufacturing the stuffed animals causing Bedtime Bear (blue) and Wish Bear (aqua) to swap colors. As soon as the mistake was discovered, the two Care Bears returned into their appropriate colors. Later, a children's story was written explaining why the bears had switched colors.
