Description

It has sufficient depth to benefit from the sherry cask maturation that gives it the signature Scotch malt whisky flavour we know and love so well.

Palate: An initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit revealing rich all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples, followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds. The most famous Aberlour whiskies are the long-running A'Bunadh, which has run since 2000, and the Aberlour Casg Annamh single malt whisky. It was given to me as a best man’s gift in the summer of 2021 just before we enjoyed one of the most beautiful weddings ever to have graced this earth, and has sat unopened in my overflow whisky cupboard waiting for a good moment to open it.
