What I have found is in the heat of battle, I am found mashing the button and accidentally going round and around. Or, if it’s already mounted on the camera, you can still reset it! Step 2: Make sure the battery is charged As a result, I find that the only reason I could recommend the Godox V1 is if you will be regularly controlling slave flashes AND you need a speedlight on top of your camera too. In that case, the better user interface could be the reason you buy this over the Godox v860ii.

Recycling speeds are typically excellent for a flashgun that runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, rather than using two or four AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries. Verdict As with all of Godox’s units, this flash carries all the features we need and expect. The Godox wireless system is built in as a commander and a slave, HSS is possible with every brand Godox supports, a modeling light and AF assist beam are present, and power is controllable from 1/1-1/256 in 1/10 stop increments. The Round HeadModeling Light: this is a great tool to have when you are working in tight spaces and can’t set up your flash on a stand when you need the smallest bit of continuous light (lighting rings, highlighting small areas in the frame, etc.).
