As a result, I chose to replace it with an MTB Wolverine Mk2, a 180-sized motor meant to be powered by a 2S lipo. To load ammo into the hopper and you simply slide open up the top door and drop in a hundred balls (I still find that awesome…. I managed to clear several of them with a hefty shake, but one did require me to remove the hopper and fish the offending round out. Unlike previous blasters, the Nemesis uses a large removable hopper with an agitator that advances the rounds into its flywheels. By the time of Endwar, a happy accident forced my hand; I broke off one of the tabs to the agitator/belt pusher motor (oops).

The other flywheel Rival, the Zeus, cannot use the rechargeable pack and so was really down compared to its big brothers, only managing 93 FPS. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. Any goods, services, or technology from DNR and LNR with the exception of qualifying informational materials, and agricultural commodities such as food for humans, seeds for food crops, or fertilizers.

Compatible only with High-Impact Rounds, the Nemesis can carry 100 rounds at a time which is almost a little bit ridiculous. While the system is sound, you can still on occasion get balls stuck (nothing a quick shake is unable to dislodge). It makes for a fun in hand experience for the older set like myself but for the target demographic of real actual children, that weight could be a problem.

Both the Nemesis and Khaos are pretty tough on batteries, so those big, expensive D batteries will not last that long and it only costs about as much 3/4 sets and believe me, you will be firing this a lot! To enable personalised advertising (like interest-based ads), we may share your data with our marketing and advertising partners using cookies and other technologies. In all reality, the use of pulse-width modulation (PWM) to control the rate of fire would make a group of Nemesis users a real force to be reckoned with. If you are involved in a day-long NERF war, being able to sling your blaster during “breaks” is so much more convenient. They built this big guy with older folks in mind (I'd say 12 and up crowd) so its a HEAVY toy without s ome sort of strap. Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy.

The aerodynamics and inconsistent muzzle velocities ensure too much erratic behavior from your shots. But given sufficient ammo, one could conceivably use a Nemesis for the entire war, if they don’t mind all the weight. As with all flywheelers you have to rev the blaster for a moment to spin up the flywheels before pulling the trigger or you get a very weak shot. The rear sight on the top doubles as the catch, so you flip this over and then you can remove the hopper.Overall this is pretty rare, but it must be said that it does jam slightly more than the Khaos, but nowhere near as often as the HyperFire. As you would expect, the results were almost identical to the Khaos, which essentially shares the same flywheel mechanism. Though, over time, I felt the desire to keep going - to play longer with less down time reloading and priming the toys for play.
