Description

This does make me wonder where the long-rumoured GW (not Forgeworld) Horus Heresy box is going to fit in now? Probably in the new year? If you haven’t already, this is a fantastic time to explore the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Four giant Battleforces thunder onto the scene this year to either expand your existing army or to help you take the plunge into the Era of the Beast. Battleforce: Soulblight Gravelords Revenant Legion

Overall, these are all decent values and they did a pretty good job of keeping the total MSRP all very similar. While the Space Marines have the most value in terms of dollars, it’s not by an insane amount. Whether you play the armies already or not they come with a decent chunk of units to get somebody started off on the right foot or add to your forces. Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! Five speedy Pteraxii, five stealthy Ruststalkers, and three Serberys Raiders make up the core of this battleforce, supported by the Ironstrider Ballistarii’s powerful cognis lascannons. Behind them marches a unit of 10 Skitarii Rangers and their Tech-priest Manipulus commander. With Vanari Auralan Wardens, Bladelords, Dawnriders, and a Starshard Ballista, all led by a Vanari Bannerblade and a Lord Regent, this is the perfect Tyrionic hammer for newly arrived Realm-lords. Commanded by a Mortisan Boneshaper and a Soulreaper, these immortal debt collectors include 20 Mortek Guard and three Necropolis Stalkers – or three Immortis Guard, if you prefer. A Gothizzar Harvester refashions errant bones into new constructs for the army, while the Mortek Crawler hurls the gift of caskets of screaming souls at besieged enemies. Zero offering bundle offerings like this is why we advise voting with your hobby dollars when it comes to companies like Games Workshop who seem to try ‘questionable’ releases like this from time to time. Games Workshops 2021 Christmas Battleforces Announcements

The Plaguefester Warband is the definitive image of an unstoppable Death Guard army, with a Champion and Icon Bearer leading seven Plague Marines and three Deathshroud Terminators. Three Myphitic Blight-haulers and a Plagueburst Crawler cover their march, crushing resistance with the hellish firepower these war engines are feared for.” The Lumineth Realm-Lords roll out the Vanari Shining Host as well, with archers, cavalry, and of course, a staunch line of spears to hold the enemy at bay.All six of these battleforces are coming this December, so stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more details. “ Warhammer Community Not a bad starter force or an addition to an existing one. Standard Sisters and Sacresants, but the draw here are the 2 tanks. The Immolator is cool but nothing beats what GW have described as a “long-range, missile-launching pipe organ cum-temple” no, Seriously, they did. (cue childing giggling) This MAXI bag, filled with matching Feldherr foam trays, provides space for all 16 miniatures from the Death Guard: Battleforce – Plaguefester Warband Set by GamesWorkshop.

Overall, these are all decent values and they did a pretty good job of keeping the total MSRP all very similar. While Lumineth has the most value in terms of dollars, it’s not by an insane amount. Whether you play the armies already or not they come with a decent chunk of units to get somebody started off on the right foot or add to your forces. The Christmas Battleforces are here, accompanied by a Rohan Stronghold in a box, and one very swish looking Praetor for The Horus Heresy. The Mortal Realms are also getting significant reinforcements this week. And we start with a bunch of draculas in the form of the Soulblight Gravelords’ Revenant Legion, who have a truly massive box containing 66 miniatures. Many of them are Deadwalker Zombies, but you also get Blood Knights and a Vengorian Lord in among the other goodies.
