If you’d asked us which video game (after Fortnite and Five Nights at Freddy’s) would end up becoming a Monopoly set, we wouldn’t have said Fall Guys. At the moment, though the studio has now re-confirmed the Xbox and Switch releases are coming, an exact release date hasn't been confirmed. Anyone familiar with board games know about Monopoly. The competitive board game about buying up property and slowly gaining the ire of your fellow former friends has had many different versions over the years. In addition to different themes like Millennial Monopoly, there have been versions based on official licenses from other properties like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and Roblox. There was even an interactive game show event, Monopoly Live, hosted in the UK. Now, we will be getting Fall Guys Monopoly, an officially licensed game featuring the game show antics of Devolver Digital's battle royale.

One of the most fun aspects of this game is the variety of skins. These are cosmetic items that you can use to customize your character, from silly costumes to licensed outfits based on popular franchises. The skins are obtained by earning in-game currency or completing challenges, and they are a great way to express your personality and stand out from the crowd. Two games we thought were quite far away from each other were Fall Guys and Monopoly, but that's not stopped a crossover from happening anyway. Mediatonic's bean-filled multiplayer game has been popular since its explosive PlayStation Plus launch in 2020, and now, it's looking to dominate the tabletop as well. Yes, a new, official Fall Guys-themed variation of Monopoly has been created, and it's available now. We've teamed up with @Hasbro to bring you FALL GUYS MONOPOLY So, while we know that the Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions of Fall Guys are definitely still in the works, Mediatonic didn’t actually give any kind of release date in its latest post. How has Fall Guys hit this milestone? It’s because, a week ago today, the game went free to play and made the jump to the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Previously it was just available on PC and PlayStation 4, priced as a regular title. Now that crossplay has actually arrived and development on these versions is being “finalized” it really only feels like a matter of time.

The rules of the game are simple. Each round consists of several different mini-games, with the number of players whittling down until only one player remains. The mini-games are different in each round and can range from races to obstacle courses to team-based challenges. The winner of each round is the player who makes it to the finish line first or is the last one standing. The game is divided into several different seasons, with each season introducing new mini-games, skins, and other fun features. However, when Mediatonic delayed the releases in April 2021, it said that the delay would give the development team “some time to add features like crossplay, so when we add new platforms, players will be able to stumble in harmony with their pals, regardless of their platform of choice.” Mediatonic confirmed towards the end of 2021 that the Xbox and Nintendo Switch versions of the game would not release as part of the Season 6 launch, writing, “speculation on social media connecting these new console releases to the Season 6 launch and we want to clarify that that's not the case so no one’s left confused looking for the game on these platforms.” The studio did, however, add that the releases were still "top priorities in active development." Fall Guys is divided into several different seasons, with each season introducing new mini-games, skins, and other fun features. The first season introduced the game's basic mechanics and features, while subsequent seasons have introduced new levels, obstacles, and skins. The latest season, for example, has introduced new levels set in a futuristic space station, complete with low gravity zones and moving platforms. With each new season, there's always something new and exciting to discover. DODGE OBSTACLES: Let the chaos begin! Players dodge interactive obstacles placed around the gameboard! Avoid Big Yeetus, Moving Wall, and See Saw obstacles, and activate them to foil other beans

BUY ROUNDS, COLLECT CROWNS: Move around the board buying as many Rounds as possible. When passing Go, collect a Crown! Each one hauls in 10,000 Kudos at the end of the game Fall Guys has officially gone free-to-play, providing a new Season 1 with its release on Xbox, Switch, and the Epic Games Store. In fact, it only took Fall Guys 48 hours to hit 20 million players (not concurrently), meaning an awful lot of players must have been champing at the bit to get their hands on it. Since launching in August of 2020, developer Mediatonic has been adding extra content in the form of “seasons”. Fall Guys is a multiplayer game that pits up to 60 players against each other in a series of crazy obstacle courses. The gameplay is fast-paced, frantic, and highly entertaining. You'll need to jump, dive, and dodge your way through a variety of obstacles, from giant rolling balls to spinning blades and swinging hammers. The ultimate goal is to be the last player standing and claim the crown. Whether you're just aiming for the free tier rewards, or want to get the premium Season 1 Battle Pass, you can find all the rewards in both tiers below, including all the skins, costumes and patterns available.
