I accidentally sprayed a vanilla bath and body mist after I put this one on my skin and the vanilla at the base was further intensified. This perfume unfortunately doesn't last, at least on me, but on clothes you can put out a better performance.

DKNY Nectar Love is an intoxicating fragrance powered by the gravity of attraction and love at first sight. Next come the fantasy solar notes; not exactly sure what they are, but they add a cheeriness to this. Honey notes in general can sometimes be tricky because they can smell, for lack of a better descriptor, like urine. Overall I think this is a suitable everyday scent or a nice scent for casual outings or even to wear lightly to bed. Glad I gave this a chance not only is the Scent just beautiful the bottle is absolutely gorgeous and just glamorous.Definitely a summer scent, sweet and happy, and, despite being light and not very long-lasting, it is very beautiful for what it is.

Nectar love is exquisitely honeyed on the opening, very much like the scent of freshly blooming honeysuckle on a hot summer's day. These fragrances are often constructed in a different manner to the traditional French Model and are formulated in one single burst. I feel the vanilla or musk in the base can also be amped up if combined with other vanilla fragrances. Opening with an irresistible burst of citrus, the perfume combines notes of Mandarin, Grapefruit and Nectarine before succumbing to a wild, floral heart of Jasmine, Orange Flower and Mirabelle. It almost smells like cheap hairspray, which disappoints me, but if you can get past that it's a decent fragrance.What really threw me, though, is that this fragrance reminds me so, so much of one I wore back during my Freshman year of high school (17 years ago, wow. It is definitely heavy on the beeswax and honey, but with the mirabelle and vanilla, it cools down to a lukewarm, super comforting beeswax. The scent can be really strong though, I usually spray 4 sprays and I couldn’t with this, it gave me a headache.
