In a world of bloody Boarding Actions, it’s easy to forget the colossal battles that define the 41st Millennium are still taking place. Balefleets are the cohorts raised by Abaddon and Vashtorr, tasked with collecting the artefacts needed to complete their meticulous plan. Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch.

The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour, five Heavy Intercessors, and 10 Assault Intercessors. I love the look of this model, with the stikkbomb (which he also comes equipped with) smoking at his feet. This is one of those models that absolutely oozes personality, and he makes a great leader for the rag-tag group included in this box. The Kommandos can sneak almost as well as their boss.Up next we have the Kommandos. Originally released for Kill Team, this unit is made up similarly sneaky Orks ready to infiltrate the enemy line before exploding into a chaotic mess of bolt fire. They share many of the same abilities as Boss Snikrot, but also gain the benefits of lots of ranged weapon options.

Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride. The crisis deepens – Angron is loose , Vashtorr is scheming , and Abaddon’s Arks of Omen are voyaging to every corner of the galaxy in search of who knows what. The Imperium is scrambling to regain the upper hand, dispatching boarding parties in a last-ditch attempt to stop the Warmaster’s vile plans. This one is strange because a lot of the value comes from the Plague Marines, and considering the reinforcements box is so expensive for three minis; it’s hard to say. As well as advancing the narrative of Warhammer 40,000, this book includes significant expansions for the Boarding Actions game mode. Not only do Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields, the book also introduces multiplayer games for three or four players – be they two-on-two team matches or exciting free-for-alls.We don’t expect Snikrot to cost too much cash – he’s only a single miniature after all – but even if it turns out that we’re a little optimistic in our estimate, the price isn’t going to increase hugely. Previous rumors of a two-player battlebox appear to be incorrect, as both the new Snikrot and Farshight will be releasing for the first time inside their respective new Boarding Patrol boxes. Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself.* Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set What makes Kommandos an inspired choice for a Boarding Patrol is their Kunnin’ Infiltratorenability, allowing them to deploy anywhere on the board, as long as it is more than 9″ away from enemy models and deployment zone. This will give you the advantage right away – you can plop your Kommandos on unclaimed objectives out of both your and your opponent’s reach. Either that, or surprise them with the gift of Throat Slittas – meaning if you are within an inch of a terrain feature (so hug those walls tightly), add 1 to wound rolls. If you prefer to stand in the middle of a crowded corridor, you can have your Distraction Grot come out for once per battle and the Kommandos are treated as if they are within an inch of terrain, allowing you to capitalise on their unique abilities no matter where they are placed on the board. Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday.

Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. These are sort of like small Combat Patrol boxes made specifically to be fielded for the new Boarding Actions. So, expect them all to have a lot of foot sloggers.

If we cannot deliver the goods within this time we will tell the consumer immediately and agree on another time for delivery. If you're a mech-lover out there, these units are definitely some of the most Gundam-esque of the line. I know some people think the T'au don't match the overall aesthetic of Warhammer 40K, but for me seeing these clean lines and (traditionally) white-painted units going against the cacophony of spikes that is any given Chaos army sets a really nice contrast. We built our Fire Warrior Team to be a Breacher team for short-range potency on the battlefield. This Boarding Patrol contains 17 models in total – one gunslinging Kelermorph inspires a team of 10 Acolyte Hybrids, who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs, while a hulking Abominant is joined by his little Mindwyrm Familiar friend, and five nearly-as-hulking Aberrants. The Drukhari box is also a perfect pairing with the rest of the combo-boxes and even itself. You could grab two or three of these and have a murder ball of wyches at your disposal. Just grab some transports and you’re off to the races! This is a good start for new players or anyone looking to try out what makes Drukhari unique.

Armed with the devastating Snazzgun, a Heavy 3, S6, -2 AP gun (in layman's terms: it hits hard), they're like a crew of walking mini-tanks. And the leader of this crew can also wield either a pistol or a melee weapon, though the physics of how they're able to hold all of this gear is suspect (I guess we just have to believe it'll work, and it'll work). Do other Orks look at the Beast Snagga Boyz and think 'they're really doing too much'?All models are supplied with their appropriate bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly. Last seen on Armageddon, this clandestine killer has recently been spotted on the Arks of Omen, his approach heralded only by the ominous whine of his trademark night vision goggles activating in the dark.
