I was a Nerf fan (not an enthusiast), but this gun has turned me into a Nerf Nerd! I've got a slew of other Nerf weapons and I've been a fan of the 'blue' bullets (the Elite Strike bullets), so just about any normal Nerf gun can get a little range boost with the elite bullets, but THIS gun adds range to any Nerf bullet put in IT!!! I threw some old 'orange' Nerf darts in a clip for some fun target practice and it gave the old darts about the same 'oomph' (range and velocity) as the new ones!!!! I was thoroughly impressed with that! It is battery operated so that was to be somewhat expected :)

It is a shame that they're selling this with just an 18-dart clip -- at least the Stampede was shipped in an elaborate kit that included multiple clips and a bandolier belt to carry them. This gun deserves to be provided with a similar set of equipment. But, to be honest, this gun doesn't really come into its own unless you use the 35-dart drum magazine with it. I've tried this combination, and it really makes this the complete keep-your-enemy's-head-down kind of gun. NERF ELITE 2.0 COMMANDER RD-6 BLASTER WITH 6-DART DRUM: This Elite Nerf blaster has a rotating drum with 6-dart capacity. Blast 6 darts in a row with this toy blasterSo, what is the best NERF machine gun for inflicting foam-filled carnage on your unsuspecting foes? Keep reading to see how we rate them: The NERF RIVAL Nemesis MXVII-10K INCLUDES 2x 10-DART CLIPS and 20 DARTS: Nerf Blaster holds 2 clips. Load 10 Nerf Ultra distance foam darts into 1 clip, load 10 Nerf Ultra accuracy foam darts into the others clip, load both clips into the blaster

Apart from eating through your ammo at an alarming rate, they are also heavier than their spring-powered brethren due to the batteries and flywheel mechanisms and make some noise. So, what do you need to know about the Nerf N-Strike Series? This is the top-level name for Nerf Guns that are styled to be more realistic than the early Nerf blasters. They fire Nerf darts and generally allow you to load multiple darts for rapid firing. There are several sub-series that fit under the Nerf N-Strike umbrella. They all share similar features like dart firing, realistic styling, and multi-dart loading. Details Of The Nerf N-Strike Elite Series The RapidStrike, on the other hand, chugs away firing at around 3 rounds per second (which also means you don’t see half your ammo go with a short squeeze of the trigger!) One thing few Nerf fans are aware of is exactly where this long-established toy came from. So here’s the answer. For those who want a long-range Nerf gun, this is your best choice. It has a longer range (100 feet) than any other Nerf gun and a surprising amount of power. You don’t even have to arc your shots within a 50-foot range. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to camp out and snipe at their opponents.

Only play in safe areas.Make sure that your Nerf wars take place indoors or in outdoor locations that are safe. Don’t play near cliffs, ravines, bodies of water, waterfalls, roads, or highways. When playing indoors, be aware of staircases and other potentially dangerous locations. Kids' verdict: Kids were drawn to the exciting design of this toy, especially because of the scope and the exciting pump-action firing mechanism. Some found the single-shot capacity frustrating as they often got hit several times by their friends while reloading. It is a Nerf gun so that right there gives it 4 stars from my fandom of Nerf guns :) The auto fire capability, the fact that it launches all my darts so far, has surprising accuracy for a toy auto dart gun and it's size give it another 4 stars, haha :) This is sure to be a collector's item for years to come and Nerf knows it. They even provide a display stand so you can show it off. Never look down the barrel. This is basic Nerf blaster safety! Even if you are fairly certain the blaster isn’t loaded, it’s better never to look down the barrel and risk accidental discharge that could injure your eyes.

Speciality: As well as these three main types of nerf gun, you also have the option to get a speciality nerf gun. This includes battery operated machine gun style nerf guns, hold out pistols, or even bow and arrows. For those with a mixed fighting style, these speciality guns are great as they can often be modified and personalised to suit your needs. Be mindful of your surroundings – in the chaos of a Nerf vs X Shot battle, it's all too easy to lose sight of trip hazards and other dangers. Be mindful of what's around you during play, and take care to remove as many hazards as possible before you start. Elite Darts work with any N-Strike Elite blaster and most original N-Strike blasters (sold separately) The former is a very serious concern for households with infants—after all, babies and toddlers love to put bright-colored things into their mouths. The solution: if you have very small children, keep the Nerf wars outside the house and well away from them.Kids' verdict: Not quite their favourite overall, but the kids loved the quirky design and easy firing mechanism of the Claw Hunter. They found it easy to reload and fire, and the dinosaur eggs that come included make for a fun target practice game, too. DART CAPACITY AND 16 NERF DARTS: Each of the barrels holds 1 dart, for a 32-dart capacity total. The Nerf blaster comes with 32 Official Nerf Elite foam darts to fully load all 32 barrels Unsurprisingly, they all have healthy ammo supplies, with anything from 12 to 200 rounds before they need a refill…although, at full tilt, that is still only a few seconds! The ability to attach barrel extensions to the front of this gun is not well implemented -- almost all of the barrel extensions wobble in place a bit when attached to the front. On the other hand, this gun is already sufficiently long that it's hard to see why you would want to make it much longer -- maybe Nerf has some other forthcoming barrel extension in mind?
