Description

Not only is God watching over us, but He’s also willing to teach us and offer us advice about what we ought to do.

If you’re an employer, take good care of your staff and give them what is due to them. The labourer is worthy of his wages (Luke 10:7; 1 Timothy 5:18; Deuteronomy 24:14-15). God is watching you. Do what is right. Overall, the Bible consistently affirms the belief that God is not distant or indifferent, but rather intimately involved in the lives of His people, watching over them with love, compassion, and unfailing concern. Final Thoughts Knowing that God was watching over him gave Jacob great confidence and in the same way being aware that God's eye is on us should give us the confidence to extraordinary things in His name. Nowhere in Scripture do we have promises that there will be no trouble or that Christians are exempt from difficulties. What we are promised is that we are preserved even when evil comes. “Deliver us from evil” from the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:5-15 is not “keep evil away from us”, but “deliver us even when evil comes to us.”The great truths of divinity are of great use to enforce the precepts of morality, and none more than this - That the eye of God is always upon the children of men. It’s meant to remind you that no matter how isolated–how alone–you feel God is always watching over you. I got this reminder a lot as I was reading Jane Doe. This verse portrays God as a mighty warrior who saves and protects us. His love for us is so strong that He rejoices over us with singing, expressing His delight and happiness. This image of God as our loving protector is a source of great comfort and encouragement. John 10:28-29

He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, my power comes to its fullness in weakness.'”– 2 Corinthians 12:9

Missing lyrics by Leslie Phillips?

The psalmist looks up to the hills and mountains around as he goes on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. He knows that his help does not come from the hills or mountains, however great they may appear. His help does not come from the soldiers that might have been posted there for the safety of the pilgrims. So he rightly focused on God. It’s hard to believe that we are being watched over by divine power. We don’t know if it’s an angel or just God himself that is watching us, but the Bible has some verses about how he does watch over us. When life gets tough, we can cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us deeply. The Scriptures remind us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. We should hold fast to these promises, knowing that our God is faithful and true. In times of uncertainty and hardship, we can find peace and rest in the knowledge that we are under the watchful eye of the Almighty God. If you are in Love with unknown power or some idol, trust me, God is watching over you. You don’t have to be a great devotee or practice many rituals to get His Love or protection; You just need to love or Believe. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”

I received an advanced reader’s copy from the publishers through Celebrate Lit; a positive review was not required. Get your copy of Jane Doe. It's wonderful to know that God is watching over us. And it's not just so that He can make a note of when we get things wrong but so He can protect us, and guide us through life's many twists and turns. I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Have you ever wondered “What if it’s not fine?” If your life is anything like mine and someone asks how are you I start thinking, "The kids have been driving me crazy, and I nearly boiled them for breakfast," but I still say, "fine." And you smile. No matter how dark it may seem, we can have hope because God never leaves us or forsakes us when our faith falters. He has promised to never leave us or forsakes us. (Hebrews 13:line 16)
