SUMMARY: A moderate projection, sweet (vanilla, sugar), and leather (dry) fragrance with soft floral, green, and spicy accords. Olfactory pyramid starts with notes like violet flower and grass, eccentric and original shades in a masculine perfume, which open the way to an adventurous heart and dreamer, led by saffron and nutmeg, to finish with a sweetish base, full of style and sophistication with vetiver roots, Sambac jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, cashmere and suede. I suppose if you have never had chili mili before it would have a different impression on you(as it does for many), but I have had chili mili. Maybe they forgot a zero somewhere in production and added 10 times less stuff than they meant to, and then nobody dared to say the emperor was naked. I really like it, however, the longevity of leather and whiskey notes is 2-3 hours, and then it turns into a powdery and clean tonka skin scent. I now use this one occasionally and appreciate it more than ever being that it had its time in my fragrance journey that made me view fragrances in a new light . The wood that I feel in it is noble, dry and interesting with each movement as it merges with the bright aroma of Tonka that once again, to my nostrils, refers to a niche perfumery aroma. I know a lot of you have seen jeremy fragrance saying the new "formulation" is terrible, but honestly its just that he has become insanely popular since his first CH men review and have you seen the amounts of fragrance he has aqcuired now? The whiskey goes away then you can smell a sweet leather which then just becomes a coumarin bomb after 2 hours which reminds me of CK shock.It smells amazing - fresh, sweet, touch grassy, smooth, somewhat sporty (the grassiness makes me think of outdoor sports). I compared old (2013) and the new (2016) bottles side by side and i guarantee that, difference between two juices is very little. For that reason, Herrera decided to implement jasmine and violet in this fragrance, that turn its scent into a magnet and an addiction. If i had no idea about the Le Male DNA and its various flankers, i could see myself being hyped and going insane over this one but alas, this is nothing new or surprising to my nose. Good lasting power, and more mature than something like Pure Malt by TM which is more sweet and less versatile.

hence why I would recommend getting a atomizer for this if you're planning to wear it for the entire day. The fragrance is composed of an elegant accord between fresh botanicals, and a smooth sweetened leather. If you dont want to reapply, I recommend spraying behind left ear, right ear, back of neck, back of one hand (then rub it onto the back of the other hand), and finally one spray into your hair beyond your hairline, above your forehead. The relatively poorer performance combined with the outgoing scent profile makes this perfect for a date or evening at the bar, but I really cannot imagine it anywhere else, and not for longer periods of time without reapplying.It is pretty solid but I think unlike most scents, this one is not as good for me compared to others. Big cardamom note reminiscent of La Nuit De L’Homme, but there is a lot more going on here with the aromatics. batches are 2011, 2xxxx batches are 2012, 3xxxx batches are 2013, 4xxxx batches are 2014, 5xxxx batches are 2015 (reformulation had happened by this time, and the bottles no longer have the red ribbon). There is definitely a mysteriously sexy, gentle animalistic hint hiding behind what can fairly be described a masculine scent.

Such a Masterpiece of a fragrance, it was one of those love at first sniff kind of moment for me with CH men, it really blew me away and I thought it was the best fragrance ever. I would say the fragrance itself is not offensive, therefore a little upgrade on its sillage will do wonders for sure.Not very common, but it makes sense since they haven't actually gone the route of milking this with "intense" and "essenza" versions. Not so - in other words, if you have the ones mentioned, you end up thinking that getting this is redundant. I dont rate a fragrance high when the performance is trash, but this is one of the best smelling colognes to date, hence why the rating is high. When I bought it I did it knowing the performance issues, but decided to do it anyway because I heard rumors saying it's probably being discontinued.

I get 8 to 10 hours with this juice where people can smell it and then about 2 to 3 hours of it just being a skin sent. One of my favourite fragrances of all time, longevity is about 7-8 hours, projection is strong for the first 40 minutes, then moderate for 3 hours before becoming more intimate for the rest of its life on skin. Very sweet but light and airy at the same time so it isn't cloying at all unless you sprayed it 10 times in 90 degree temps. When everyone was mentioning about the sugar note, i feared it would be too sweet and cloying but it is probably the most pleasant sweet note i have smelt in a fragrance so far.The synthetic opening I mentioned above is essentially this pomelo on the top of bitter grapefruit, once you get past that the quality of lavender and subtle leather is actually really good. With sensuality and an evocative allure, the worlds of CH Men Privé and CH Carolina Herrera form an unmistakable duo. This is a great scent and I'm not sure why this is getting discontinued to make way for trash like Bad Boy. It's certainly more for cold weather wear, even with only moderate performance, given the rather heavy note breakdown. Top notes are Grass, Bergamot and Grapefruit; middle notes are Woodsy Notes, Nutmeg, Violet, Saffron and Jasmine; base notes are Sugar, Leather, Vanilla, Suede, Amber, Cashmirwood, Sandalwood, Oakmoss and Vetiver.
