Moon Blooded Breeding Clinic was sexy, but I think the idea of knotting was a lot sexier in theory than what was actually delivered. I just never felt a true connection between Moriah and Lowell other than their shared loneliness. Yes, they were sexually compatible, but I’m not sure how much of that was because they actually liked each other versus scratching an itch. The writing felt sloppy compared to the other books I’ve read by the author and there were random word errors and repeated phrases throughout. The plot was on the thin side, and all of the filler, inner monologue, and push and pull made the book unnecessarily long. Why not 5 stars? There were some grammar mistakes and formatting errors that were sometimes distracting. Oh goodness was this book full of delicious tension! It takes a WHILE for them to finally do the deed.. but all the damn buildup was 🔥🥵. Obviously, she’s had to… give him a hand 😉 many times because of her job, and when he finally asks her out and they give in to all of the buildup… hooooleeeee hell is it STEAMY🥵🔥. First of all- he has a diiiiirty mouth! A proper gentleman that knows how to use words to cause his woman to convulse is always needed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and he makes her wait on purpose. Not only is she constantly aroused by him, but by making her wait he makes the tension build even higher- until it finally all explodes- and it’s certainty at an atomic level 💦😉🥵. Plus, I LOOOOOVE how much he loves and wants to pleasure her before they do anything- prepping is VERY important with a man of his… uh… size… and the best way he likes to prep involves his unique mouth/tongue 🥵😉. And the romance? Um I guess I liked it but I also was getting some weird vibes from it...I don't know how to explain honestly. I liked the start but it kind of petered- I mean they had some sexual chemistry but overall compatible...I dunno? I mean the h just kind of gives up her job, home, life and goals to just follow him around the world while he keeps living his carefree life and scrapping the baby thing all together. Rourke is aware of boundaries and potential conflicts for Violet within her job and he seeks to build a relationship with her outside of sex before things become physical between them – this includes pausing his visits to the farm for a while so as not to confuse things. The way the story treated these kinds of issues made it much more than an erotic romance. I liked the inclusivity of Cambric Creek and the way Violet examines her previously held prejudices and privilege as she learns about the community. I liked the friendships she built outside of her romance with Rourke and a I liked the way that Rourke never sought to control Violet or make any demands about her ceasing work at the farm if she didn’t want to.

She was too horny to think rationally and was about to make a miscalculation in judgment born of imprudent arousal and nothing more In spite of his manwhore-ish past, I still liked the hero. He's sweet and straightforward and didn't cower from telling her how he felt... eventually. Unfortunately, this book was a slog to get through, which I really wasn't expecting after the first book. It could be because there's not a lot of tension in this book, internal or external. The plot feels quite minimal which is great if you're just looking for a fluffy read but I personally was hoping for more meat to the story. But it's not that the book is more heavy on the character development either, because I didn't feel either character was deeply developed.Readers have been lusting over vampires since Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but the internet opened new pathways. Monster erotica attracted a burst of media attention around 2014, when the trend was epitomized for the unfamiliar by offbeat titles like Cum for Bigfoot. Then there’s the influence of one of the leading lights of romance self-publishing: Ruby Dixon, author of the sprawling, famously over-the-top Ice Planet Barbarians series, whose heroes are giant blue aliens with glowing blue eyes and horns and an additional “spur” strategically placed on their groins. (Her heroines are accidentally dropped onto their hostile ice planet home by another, villainous group of aliens.)

she was likely to become horny enough to go writhing around on the sidewalk like a cat in heat, yowling and offering her pussy to any passersby that wanted to fill it. Set to be the first in a series, Morning Glory Milking Farm follows Violet, a perennially broke millennial in dire need of a new job. She’s drowning in grad school debt but there are no available positions suited to her skills, and gigs in coffee shops just aren’t paying the bills. So, she does what all humans living in a world where magical creatures are the norm would do: she becomes a milking technician at Morning Glory, a pharmaceutical base dedicated to, ahem, gathering important biological samples. It turns out that minotaur semen is a key ingredient in Viagra, so willing males can donate their ‘material’ for the good of erections everywhere. Violet’s job is to get it into the jars in an efficiently hands-on manner. During her regular sessions, she encounters a regular client who asks for her services specifically: he’s deep-voiced, tips well, and, even by minotaur standards, is f**king huge. Sparks, of course, fly. And other things. Mind out of the gutter, you weirdos. Also, so many sweet parts. Minor spoiler below for vows of love but... c'mon, you know there were gonna be vows of love.

I don't know what to think about this book. I really enjoyed Morning Glory Milking Farm so maybe I went into this read with expectations that were too high? Soon after they meet, it gets steamy. The heat level was decent but her need to call him a 'good boy' EVERY single time was awkward. “Good boy,” she crooned against his hair. “You’re cumming so much for me. Such a good boy.”I kept picturing her patting his head. What is the world even coming to when I'm sitting here thinking to myself, "I wish this had been lactation erotica."

I CANNOT get enough of these two together. As individuals, I love them, but in each other’s company what you the reader will experience is pure magic 🪄 Umm...I can totally see other people loving this one, but I'll be honest in that there was just something about this book not doing it for me which stinks because I was looking forward to a human x werewolf romance. I didn’t like that Grace was a Tease, letting Brogan finger her under the table and then leaving him? How many times did we hear what a bad idea having sex with a co-worker was and she kept flirting and encouraging him? Not fair. This needed another pass through for editing, badly. There is a typo in the LAST LINE of the book. Cmon man. Also this was just so difficult to get through, I see a lot of people DNF’d. The pacing was slow and boring. The couple didn’t even meet until like 30% of the way through?? I ended up doing a lot of skimming because there was just a lot of world building and repetitive family dynamic explanations that just went on and on and on. Like OK we get it Lowell is a rich spoiled baby middle child brat. Who is hot. We get it. I liked it. Somehow Nascosta got the pandemic in a book without it overwhelming the story or making me feel like I wanted to hide. Seriously, I read to escape the pandemic so I was pleasantly surprised to see this book have the pandemic, along with some of the emotions of being pulled out of life, in this book and it was well done.

The “spicy” scenes were…hot! Like a LOT hotter than I thought they would be between Violet and Rourke ESPECIALLY in the earlier scenes and I never knew I would enjoy Minotaurs as much as I do now! So thank you C.M. Nascosta! 😂 Morning Glory Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . there's only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn't something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she's determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune. Lowell is an adorable if not a bit overly needy werewolf who suffers v seriously from Middle Child Syndrome and needs all the attention and praise. Moriah is an independent divorcee looking to pursue her dreams of having a baby on her own. Together they make the perfect pairing <3

About Me

It was... really hot. Between the up front sexuality of the heroine, the voyeurism (both in part by the hero and the heroine fantasizing about getting a train run on her in her front lawn), and the fascinating mothman genitalia specials... this was maybe her sexiest book?? And book 1 in Cambric Creek took place in a GD minotaur milking farm. It was an alright book but I probably wouldn't have continued with the Cambric Creek series if I read this before Morning Glory Milking Farm. I've waited 11 months since joining CMN's Patreon and reading all her shorts, including the MBBC snippet where we first see Moriah and Lowell meeting for their interview and the sparks instantly fly. I NEEDED IT. And I finally got it. What binds together these two angles on monster love is a creative subversion of patriarchy. For me, this is one of the reasons I find monster-f**king stories in general so exciting to read. And believe me, I’ve read a lot. Did you all miss my sexy tall frog-man prestige novel review? Monsters are a fantastical means to dive into our understandings of masculinity while keeping a reasonable distance from its oft-insidious reality. As with all sci-fi and fantasy fiction, the monsters are seldom just monsters. On Violet’s first day she has an experience with a particular minotaur which she finds arousing. Apart from him however, she doesn’t get turned on by her job. It’s not a sex service (although there are some creeper minotaurs who try and make it so – every species has them apparently). The mythology has it that the minotaur semen – alarmingly copious amounts of which are produced by the clients at the farm – is the magic ingredient in the “little blue pills” for human erectile dysfunction.
