I loved the end of the book and I think Hayley has been really brave to open up like this talking about things that most of us never speak of. See raamat on täis erinevaid piinlikku olukordi, millest paras osa jääb küll meile kahe kõrva vahele, samas nii mõnigi kipub ikka päriselu segama. Eventually, after a lot of thinking, I realised that there are almost eight billion people on earth, and surely we’re mostly doing the same things as each other…. And especially touching was chapters about how to deal with feelings when someone you love is diagnosed with dementia and is slowly fading away from your and his own world, how to cope with grieve and how to admit to yourself that it is time to go to therapy and sort out all the mess. I might not be able to banish your anxiety or make you feel 100% comfortable in your skin but I hope I can at least give you a break from the constant brain chatter and we can have a giggle about it together.

I loved this book it makes me laugh and reassure me that other people feel anxious and incredibly embarrassed most of the time. Ich konnte mich in viele Situationen selbst hineinversetzen und der Wortwitz (habe es auf englisch gelesen) und der britische Humor haben mich oft zum Lachen gebracht. Me vs Brain incorporates the humour and creativity of her videos into written form making for an easy-read.Please try again later as the restrictions may be lifted, or contact your service provider if the issue persists. Hayley Morris is an award-winning comedian and internet sensation, best known for her hilarious and taboo-busting sketches which regularly attract millions of views on Instagram and TikTok. A criticism of the writing is the chapters could have had an age or more detailed introduction to the anecdote to help place the stories in context and help the reader relate to the stories and age Hayley was when the events happened. See oli ajaloolises plaanis põhimõtteliselt eile - ning mina mäletan ja ei unusta neid "häid" otsuseid, millega tee põrgusse sillutatud oli.

Along with her funny narrative there’s also the message that it’s ok to be who you are, whether you’re “normal” or neurodivergent.Hayley explores her relationship with her Brain, anxiety and how to navigate the world of fart etiquette, identity, therapy and much more. The theme of anxiety is discussed in a personal, introspective way that helps the reader connect with Hayley and emulates fears, vulnerabilities and thoughts that are seen as taboo.

It got better towards the end when she talked about the topic of grief, but by that point I was really just waiting for the book to be over already.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). The message that stuck the most from these chapters was the idea that everything will work out and you have to go through the failures and roller coaster of emotions to find the right thing that makes you happy. Tik Tok comedian Hayley Morris shares how she’s dealt with intrusive thoughts and other life challenges with her signature wit. I appreciated the raw honestly about Hayley's grief and glad she found writing the book therapeutic.
