Doctor Drew seems respectable, smart and charming, while Fern is a loving doctor’s wife with a perfect life. The author cleverly pulls out a few more twists that will have your jaws dropping, and the final jab (Epilogue) adds a new cat-and-mouse game that will leave you wickedly smiling. Some parts of the books were a bit predictable, but that didn't take anything away from my enjoyment. Anyone who has read a Daniel Hurst book knows from the first line to the last you are going to get a great thrilling story,’The Doctor’s Wife’ his latest,is no different…….

I was expecting, and hoping, that Fern and Rory would be caught following the murder - something that seems plausible considering that the murder took place at 8 p. I mean, all things considered, it's better to just walk away and spare yourselves the trouble of heartache and guilt. A lifeless and overwritten (“Albany was a city that wept bitterly and did not apologize for its weeping,” etc. The characters kept me in suspense, I was intrigued by the little references they made and I didn't know who to trust! Showboat Medical Examiner Margot Heavner makes it clear that, breaking with her department’s earlier practice ( The Bone Collection, 2016, etc.She told him things were over and that she was going back to her husband, Rory, but Drew is still in love and not willing to give up on their relationship - married or not.

The reason we moved to this beautiful, old property with a gorgeous view of the sea was because we needed to put our past behind us.I just don’t believe that Rory would commit to a plan that involved framing his wife for murder when he was so determined to win back their marriage. Although some of the twists were predictable and weren’t exactly mind-blowing, the journey to get there was both enjoyable and satisfying. Lydia, in turn, registers for Annie’s class and submits a lengthy pornographic description of some of Simon’s stranger sexual practices for Annie’s perusal. Maybe, but the sasquatches whom the volcano displaced contributed to the statistics, too, if only out of self-defense.
