When the Xerjoff Join the Club Collection was first released, they intended to keep the ingredients of all the fragrances in the line a secret. Even so, I do see some ingredients identified now, but I don't know how accurate they are. Fragrantica shows notes of salt and sea water, but my nose smells neither. so after about 3 weeks of using this almost daily, All I can say is that from the last 100+ fragrance I've sampled in the last 2 years, this is one of the only ones that have truly WOW'd me, And for those who haven't tried it this is a must try in my eyes... Especially with Winter coming up, I don't think I have another fragrance in my collection that compares to how Cozy this scent truly is. What's your thoughts on Xerjoff 40 Knots in terms of smell, virsitility, uniqueness, performance. Does it remind you of any other scents? Is it FBW? A very specific description that you must smell to experience. In the opening, Ocean Scent forms a fresh, salty, and sand-like smell of the salt. Also, sea notes infuse a windy, refreshing, and oceanic vibe in it. As the opening smell starts to fade, the mineral notes and seagrass in the core infuse a refreshing salty, marine, and aromatic hunch all around. You will perceive a lightly sweet, floral, and green vibe of lily-of-the-valley there.

Due to its high demand and elevated price point, it’s not in the grip of a lot. So, I have identified some of the best alternatives for 40 Knots Xerjoff. Then, sandalwood amplifies the spicy aura with a creamy, woody, and resinous hint. In fact, it is one of the ingredients that make perfume last longer. However, its uncommon aroma also gives scope for special events and functions, when making an impression is your goal. I have a sample that I've worn twice. It is Xerjoff, so the quality is there, I do like it but it is not setting my world on fire.

So, no exception happened in this case. Smooth Sailing opens with a lightly sweet and caramelized smell of the candied fruits. Rum and sea salt give off a clean, spicy, warm, and subtle oceanic vibe. Plus, its aroma is soothing and boozy. Another great substitute for 40 Knots Xerjoff is Ocean Scent by Sevilla Fragrances. It is not a replica but has a similar note formulation to 40 Knots. Though the extraordinary idea behind the making of 40 Knots Xerjoff is apparent, they kept their formula a secret. Edit: I've been reading that this is similar to Ambre Nuit, from what I can remember of my sample is that they do smell similar but go down different paths in their dry downs. I much prefer 40 knots, Ambre Nuit lasts a fraction of the time the Xerjoff does
