Description

As it is set at night-time, it is the perfect book for bedtime and is such great fun to read that everyone is guaranteed to drift off to sleep with a smile on their face, probably desperately trying to keep an eye on their toys to see if they come to life in the middle of the night ! I think it is a very suitable book for primary school children in East London as it’s based on the author’s memories from Bethnal Green, that alone I would imagine would be of interest to children. Follow the adventures of Bunting, an old toy cat, and his friends at the museum who come to life when the lights go out.
