The SDS chuck is great, depth stop, additional handle and plus carry case are of great quality so a good addition. Great bit of kit however my only negative comment I can give is that the push button on the side of the handle to keep the drill running without having to hold the trigger pops out on its own too easily which can mean constant stop starting when using it in hammer action to remove render etc.what a mistake 1st use failed on drilling a hole for a flue so took it back and replaced for the same again. The Makita HR2470 SDS Plus hammer drill is versatile and reliable, able to repeatedly tackle tough tasks with ease. Same here, I loved this drill more than my wife, until the apprentice decided to use it to core a flue hole.
