One of the highlights is Nell's unexpected friendship with Cricket, an octogenarian with as much sass as wisdom. On the other hand, there are many, many points that resonated with me and there are for sure many, many women out there with same thoughts and feeling. This was full of unexpected surprises, it had me laughing so much, also I did cry to there were some upsetting moments, but I’m so glad the book ended on a high note. As much as I wanted it all, I didn’t get to tick all the boxes of perfect marriage, gorgeous kids, and successful career that I lusted over as at Twenty-Something dreamer. Now, I wrote something about the horrors of dating in your late thirties which I doubt will ever see the light of day.

The childless slant was quite relentless in this story, but as all light reads it wasn't meant to be taken too harshly, and all sides ended up being explored. And if you ever need to be reminded that life isn't always Instagram-perfect, then this book is your go-to filter. I’m right around Nell’s age and honestly I sometimes feel like I’m battling life while others around me are smooth sailing along.
