for me, the initial burst is actually very woody and full of white tobacco , as it dries a bit after like 10 minutes the tobacco keeps going strong and thats where you can really feel the rum take its role as the main ingredient. The white tobacco gives just enough bitterness to keep it from going to too sweet, and the woody note gives it enough depth to be taken seriously. Not harsh at all simply sweet juicy beautiful fragrance at your longevity and performance honestly lasts so day projects so day. The only think they share is the coconut vibe, but in Joop Homme Wild we found a coconut rum which is a little bit different and also Axe Excite has that hazelnut caramel combination which isn't present here obviously. The overall impression is a very tight construction, at least when you get to the drydown, but it does smell quite pleasant.Interestingly, it doesn't come across as specific, such as vanilla, amber, benzoin, tonka/coumarin, etc, which is good, because I already have plenty of those.
