A fragrance to reset. Perfect after shower, just to smell clean and nice. It's fresh as well, but not too much to be honest. I bought this about 2 years ago and wore it heavily initially, and still wear it several times a month. Slightly powdery and floral but very unoffensive and probably perfect for work in office or similar environments. The name "amber" has also got me shaking my head, or maybe there's just a twist to the name that i don't get ?!? A subtle but unique scent with great longevity. This was the best perfume that I ever wore. Best ever, bar none. But now that it is gone, I feel empty.

no longevity or considerable sillage and the odor changes completely when I was halfway through the bottle into a rancid and burnt plastic smell. Beautiful soapy & musky amber fougere, perfect all year round. It's a fantastic layering scent as well, works with a myriad of fragrance categories. Exclusive, luxury soapy like smell that has gotten me compliments. But to be fair I've also suspected some people didn't like it. I think the frag works around the year, however I think it does it best work in the spring och summer. A sexy fragrance that imo can project confidentiality. I really dislike how Prada restrict purchasing some of their mens fragrances especially when it comes to where you live. Most of their early established scents are impossible to buy from online retailers in Europe unless your spending hefty money.I was expecting a great performance from it (due to the comments), wich was a super let down (lasts about 4/5 hours on my skin with good projection. Revisiting this fragrance after quite a long time. I’ve had a small sample bottle of this one for years and never got to buy a larger bottle because it’s doesn’t get me excited, as for example, its darker brother, Amber Intense. In the dry down is where this fragrance shines - sweet saffron and vanilla join the myrrh and musk to create a warm and enveloping scent bubble. Labdanum, leather and patchouli add a smooth darkness which builds mystery and sensuality while still staying somewhat bright and airy.

i’ve read through the comments of the comments, and i’m surprised that no one compared this to the parma violet sweet?Very good and solid fragrance. Lasts and projects really well. I think that it is strong in his own bubble like 0.5 m around you, yet i dont think it pushes on distance. But it's really strong around you. There are many comparisons between Prada Amber Pour Homme and Prada L’homme. I’m not going to dig into that, but one obvious similarity is the soapy clean aspect. For me Prada L’Homme is way to feminine smelling and I usually don’t have any problem with unisex frags leaning feminine. But there are something in there that don’t appeal to me. (L’Homme Intense is way better, imo)

at this moment in into prada phase, a clean soapy fragrance that you can never spray too much. the scent is soft & projects well, even longevity is not bad for this clean scent, after 3-4 hours the smell still lingers every now & then. This fragrance smells clean and pure. It brings me joy and pleasure, as its very comfortable and easy to wear. The opening notes of bergamot, mandarin, and neroli give way to a heart of cardamom, geranium, and vetiver. The base notes of patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla, and sandalwood provide a warm and inviting finish to this masculine fragrance. Personally I have no issues with its so called feminine side because for me it delivers fully what I expect from it and that's enough.I'd argue that these three fragrances, all still in production, were all genre-defying scents that changed (for the better) the trajectory of men's fragrances.
