Description

The anti-corruption television drama In the Name of the People 人民的名义 was a massive hit in 2017, gripping audiences from the broadcast of the first episode in March. After certain hesitation, characters act to the "good" or the "evil", depending on the external situation, conflict environment and their own interests, rather than the characters themselves are forced to be endowed the inherent nature of "good" or "evil".

As the face of corruption is unmasked, Ding Yizhen, deputy mayor of Jingzhou city (a fictional place), who is also implicated receives the help of a mysterious figure and manages to escape overseas. The ruler of the area was King Cogidubnus, who started the great palace at Fishbourne, outside Chichester, after the Conquest. My understanding is that this particular show is special in that it was funded by the government's anti-corruption bureau so the censors went easy on it. The main distribution of these coins shows that the Dubunni occupied or ruled an area as far south as the Mendips, and the coins also hint that the group was divided into northern and southern subgroups. The Selgovae might have used Eildon Seat as their principal settlement, but this might have been a Votadinian site. This show featured probably one of the phenomenal casts in recent history, with a slew of talented, well known veteran actors, who took the roles and absolutely made it their own.

Some scholars place their location as the upper Tweed Basin, and it is unclear if they were part of the Votadini. A director from the national ministry has been reported to authorities for accepting bribes amounting to millions. As Gordon Allport, one of the founders of personality psychology put it in 1961, "the most important anchorage to our self-identity throughout life remains our own name". Leicester was certainly an important large settlement before the Roman Conquest, as were a number of large settlements in Lincolnshire, such as Dragonby and Old Sleaford.Under the terms of the licence agreement, an individual user may print out a PDF of a single entry from a reference work in OR for personal use (for details see Privacy Policy and Legal Notice).
