I have tried this perfume while I was searching a b.day gift for my aunt who is going to be middle of 30s. After the testing, I gotta say this perfume, is strongly recommended for women who are in their late 20s at least and above. (It is very mature scent, that was my opinion when I sniffed it) I would like to say that it was just bad with my chemistry but I am afraid that that isn't the truth.I just feel that this blend is very ""off"" & very synthetic.It also smells very similar to another scent but I cant remember which one at the moment.It is the floral that smells similar to something else but the rest of this mixture is all on its own. Fortunately, after 20 minutes, it settled down to a musky sandalwood that is very pleasant. It is a tiny bit masculine, which I like. There was also a masculine-sandalwood-powdery thing going on, which isn’t baby-powder but rather just a smoothness and creaminess. The sandalwood seems more prominent on my clothing, but on my skin the fruity pear note is clearer. Musk isn’t listed in the notes, but it still seems to be there, possibly contributing to the powderiness I sense. There are a number of notes in this, however, I really only smell a few: I get a Citrus, floral smell from the Lavender, Iris, even Sea Moss that gives this fragrance a sea-ish/ocean aquatic vibe. There is a fruitiness although there is no fruit listed in the note category it is something that I detect. In the heart and base is a Cashmere, maybe even creamy musk that finds it way in the mix, perhaps this is due to the combination of Sandalwood, Amber, Tonka Bean. Creed, oops I mean the designers of Unforgiveable did such a fantastic job of blending these notes together!!!

The scent lasts just about a work-day at about 7/8 hours before dying off. It projects for about an hour/hour and a half, at a pretty good moderate sillage. Let's face it, most male fragrances aren't super-strong in sillage, especially during summer. Unforgivable has a warmer citrus scent and the opening is way different compared to MI (I own batch CM3318K01). Quality with price considered? Unbeatable! One my male fragrances in my collection (which is a ton) this is no exaggeration, in my top 5.

I wish i hadnt let my bottle run out and that i didnt buy more....this was before i knew about discontinuation and reformulation of course and had i known i wouldnt have let this slip but you can only do so much you know? It's got this citrus-fruity scent that reminds me a lot of that smell you get when you get a whiff of wet hair that was JUST washed with a really good scented shampoo. I think of that everything I wear it. It's amazing. circa: Unforgiveable, a reinvention of Creed Imperial Millesime attempting to become a niche fragrance... Then, to me, this nosedived. Its 80 degrees out in New York today and this thing did nothing. Not at all what I thought would happen. I assumed this would scream out and say I AM HERE!! It didn't. This frag is best suitable for office or home uses, during summer days. For me, I would not use it for outdoor, clubbing, dinning out coz nothing special at all.

I was at the supermarket just waiting in line. Typically Murphy's law I ended up on the lane with the older lady arguing her coupon. G-d bless her, but the poor cashier was stressing and trying to calm the woman down by informing her the manager was coming. The ad was banned by US ad watchdog the Federal Communications Commission, but has been approved by the UK's Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre to run after the 9pm watershed. I fail to understand the comparisons to Creed Millesime Imperial but generally speaking, that goes as praise in the community, even though I don't worship MI as many do. Nonetheless, I'd recommend trying Unforgivable to get your own sense and not take for granted the MI likeness that has been pointed out a lot. NOW, to my recollection, this scent was NOTICEABLY dark, rich, and sweet and by dark and sweet i mean in a armani code edt way not something crazy dark like valentino uomo intense or anything. It still had a citrusy side to it but that was only to give some balance to all that sexy syrupy vibe that it radiated. I blind bought this because it was cheap and because there was a tester of the same in the men's, and I liked that. This, however, was much different. This scent comes off as straight powder at the top, and I am not a huge fan of strong powdery perfumes (I've started to appreciate them at least). So I set it aside.Combs, previously known as Puff Daddy, not only stars in the ad but came up with the concept, as well as producing and directing the commercial, effectively cutting out the need for an ad agency. It was probably 2007 or 2008, and i had already smelled sean johns unforgivable, and thought it was the sexiest fragrance that i had ever smelled to date. I love MI and use it pretty much as a daily during summer. Was hoping for Unforgivable to be that close indeed so I would have a cheaper daily and use MI for the more special occasions.

Sean John is the fashion label by American musician and hip-hop tycoon Sean Combs (aka Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy). The company takes its name from Combs' first and middle names. The sandalwood notes are combined with tree fruit and floral in a way that is very reminiscent of Ellen Tracy/Ellen Tracy to my nose—which is one of my favorites. Unforgivable is citrusy opening scent that projects really good that dies off into a great boozy base. The citrus open is highlighted by the somewhat metallic tangerine and green mandarin with some hints of bergamot. The base however is a strong rum scent with a little bit of cashmere and a slight tonka bean and sandalwood base. The mid is rather unrecognizable to me nose for some reason but that is entirely fine.I created an account just to discuss, this fragrance and the "unforgivable" case of the missing unforgettable fragrance that i remember...... After coming into some money i decided to splurge on it, now i have no idea where i got it from, but i have a vague memory of walking into my local dimly lit department store (macys, dillards, MAYBE jcpennys) fragrance area and asked for a bottle landing myself a sweet little 1.7oz bottle (not knowing there was a bigger bottle) and feeling on top of the world, this was going to be my signature scent.
