I know this sounds extreme, but you ever try a perfume so headache inducing that even reading the notes makes your head hurt? after a bit of time, it turns to a soft vanilla-floral cloud with a hint of vetiver, and it no longer smells like LL at that point.

There's also something in the dry down that I'm not the biggest fan of, it could be the velvet note. When I first sprayed it, I had to double check the box to see if I accidentally purchased a man's version. Even though I haven't had it on very long, I can smell the vetiver coming through--and surprisingly the bright citrus note of the bergamot is still perceptible to me. In the first couple of minutes I can smell the powdery aromatics with soft herbal and faint fruity touches, and already vanilla is there. I like Angel, but it is hard to wear and I have to spray very lightly or it is way too overpowering for me.I will use this perfume to make my Mon Guerlain full bottle last longer, since I go through it so quickly! I had already sealed my fate and knew that I wasn’t making it out of the building without purchasing this stunner.

For whatever reason yesterday, I decided to try her again before Spring truly breaks in, and I paired her with Midnight Amber Glow lotion. While I do find this fragrance to be deep, dark, and sexy, I also find it to have a very comforting feel too it. Think of a Sage that doesn't smell synthetic or old like what my detestable dadside grandma used to overspray anywhere in her house. Warning: I don't usually get headaches, but Seductive Noir seems to induce one, so keep this stuff away from people who are prone to migraines.Some I think I will love end up being just ok to me or a big flop, but there are times when I find something that is truly amazing and this happens to be one of those times. I was surprised to also get the strong impression of Euphoria by CK, which is one that I can’t get on with, try as I might, and which doesn’t bear any resemblance to Mon Guerlain—I thought. In short, I agree with the majority here, Seductive Noir is strongly reminiscent of MG but not an exact dupe.
