Should've discovered this one much earlier than I did. My bread-and-butter signature scent during most of my uni years, and even some time after that, was the original L'Homme which at the time I first smelled it in 2015, blew my mind. I was initially skeptical that this flanker could live up to the original that I enjoyed dearly and associate with some of the happiest years in my life. Finally getting to smell LNDH came to me with some sense of pleasant surprise. A true night-time scent - possibly year-round with milder application on a summer night, but absolutely do-able. Stunning, dark, sexy as hell and chic! Better for formal, but possible with up-scale casual attire. This can wear you, if you are not confident and know what you want out of "that night". If you are in a Nascar shirt and jeans shooting pool and wear this, you have offended this fragrance and the bottle should be taken away from you at once.

LNDH is all about the soothing lavender and sweet, fizzy cardamom, held together by a dry woody undertone that lingers and becomes more prominent after the first two wear off. Slightly sweet, warm, woody, slightly spicy, and dry. Longevity is not the greatest, I get 3 hours at best, but the average projection will keep up for most of the duration of it.

At the top, you are definitely getting hit with the cardamom right away. This note will often be a supporting player, but in La Nuit de l’Homme, it is the main attraction. Its flacon is dark and powerful, as if it were announcing powerful ingredients it carries in itself. A veil of mystery and an explosive spicy accord reveal cardamom with sparkling freshness of bergamot, lavender and cedar, which stand for strength of men. Cumin and vetiver in a base ensure a sensual finish and an opulent, elegant closure. Also, where 1 Million is more energetic and youthful, La Nuit De L’Homme is classy and refined. Though, it is quite versatile beyond that application. This is my signature fragrance and I can't see my signature fragrance changing any time soon. Genuinely amazing stuff. Incredibly versatile - I've found it to work great both during the day and at night even though it is considered to be a night fragrance. Definitely works better in winter than in other seasons - it projects better in colder weather.
