I go to play some more that evening and I notice that all gears besides 3rd and 4th are blocked, I can't move the shifter to those gates at all. I know I am reviving my own old thread here, but by Pro Micro USB connector snapped so I had to program a new one. Does anyone know why sometimes the gear number goes from being bright and solid in color to transparent?

It turnerd out there's a little black collar that sits around the top of the leather boot (just under the shift knob). i also uninstalled GE but it didn't help :( the game is just not recognizing the wheel as g27 anymore. The standard ones on the Fanatec are plain awful, but the G27 Shifter is actually still OK for the job. I pulled the whole thing apart, just to find a little peice on top that could have been fixed without unmounting the shifter, so i thought it might help someone else to know this si a simple fix if you come across it.

The FFB and the feeling are the same with the converter in comparison with a fully suported PS4 wheel? H-shifter works in all games supporting it, even in Dirt 3, and in Dirt Rally there is no possibility of the choice of h-shifter. Well my sequential works with Dirt, and not with GT5 I can even switch the pattern around in Dirt but still only 1st and 2nd gear for GT5.

Definately worth the money when you compare it to the cost of a new wheel which will still only limit you to PS3/PS4.
